People need to create a reason to believe their life is worth something so they s-hit on others no matter the topic.

I think a lot of it is fear. The game is where some people like it........for whatever reason... And it's the fear of changing what they feel like the game should be. Especially when you start dumping all the best gear into all of the most difficult end game activities. In other words; "Don't touch my virtual trophies that YOU don't deserve!" And it's all quite sad really...
