Or some other animal species?
Octopi is the plural of octopus in case you didn't know.
Orca and dolphin are both closely related (yes the orca is not a whale), but I want to see which of them people think is more intelligent.

Apparently great apes (like humans, chimps, orangutans and gorillas) are the most intelligent. Followed by monkeys, and then whales and dolphins.
Animal Intelligence Hierarchy focuses on the ladder of preferences of different species of animals created by scientists on the basis of their intelligence or smartness. Animal Intelligence is also referred as Animal Cognition in scientific terms and the study of checking of Animal Intelligence Hierarchy is scientifically referred as Cognitive Ethnology. The Animal Intelligence Hierarchy was obtained by scientists by studying their behavior in extreme ablaze form. The various tests performed to obtain Animal Intelligence Hierarchy structure include like the use of tools, problem solving skills, ability to understand and learn languages, spatial memory usage for various purposes, display of emotions and consciousness etc. Great Apes: In the Animal Intelligence Hierarchy, the Great Apes also known as Hominids occupy the top most ranking in all of the Species of animals. Their intelligence is quietly very similar to that of humans sharing almost more than 98% of the geneticald substance. They after getting some training are able to communicate and express thoughts and showing emotions through sign language.
https://www.hierarchystructure.com/animal-intelligence-hierarchy/amp/
