Hey all,
A few weeks back, we talked about Enhancement Cores coming from Gunsmith bounties in the TWAB. I wanted to give a quick update on this, as it also involves Mod Components, which have been a topic of discussion as well. Please note- this is all still in development for Season of Opulence, and could change.
• Originally announced in the TWAB, these bounties would cost Gunsmith materials. This has been changed to Glimmer.
• There will be multiple daily bounties to complete, each rewarding one enhancement core and two mod components
• There will be two weekly bounties to complete. These will each grant one enhancement core, one mod (Weapon or Armor), and other materials or reputation/rank points depending on the objective of the bounty.
• Note: When I say rank points, think Valor or Infamy, **not** Glory.
The team is continuing to evaluate feedback over mod components, enhancement cores, and rewards all up. Thank you for the continued feedback. We'll give you updates as we have them.

Or, rarely get an actual update giving a fresh inventory other than Tess. Is it safe to say D2 has become a bounty game now vs D1 that actually had a loot system? I don't mind grinding for loot and it's nice being able to purchase items like I was able to in D1 using the vendors as they were intended for, but this game has become more about grinding bounties, cores and running repetitive content more than necessary to collect power engrams that turn out 9 times out of 10 another duplicate than an actual game to grind for loot as it was supposed to be created for. IMO, Bungie really needs to drop this bounty nonsense and actually create a loot system worth the time spent in this game. This is not a "hardcore" gamers game. This is not a "casual" gamers game either. I don't know what this game is and I believe Bungie doesn't even know anymore either. Bungie had a chance to turn this game around to head it in a better direction when Forsaken released. What happened to creating (meaningful content) giving gamers a path to enjoy their time spent in this game like D1? (To make Meaningful choices in this game there has to be a variety of choices to even come to that conclusion.) I'm not a developer but it doesn't take brain surgery to see this game is too limited in just about every single aspect of it that it barely gives you any choices. I'm not saying D1 was perfect by all means, but D1 didn't feel like the second job going nowhere and nothing to show for it. I can literally spend an hour in D1 right now and get rewarded for my time spent playing that game. Even running bounties. Or I can spend an hour in D2 wasting my time playing running useless bounties, power engrams because you/Bungie don't want to respect my time playing your game that most bought to play, not because they wanted a second job.
