Weasel and Saxophone error.

Hey [b]Guardians[/b] I dont know what to do. Im playing on [b]PC[/b]. I tried everything to fix it but nothing. I reinstalled game, changed internet cable, I restarted modem like 100x. Im getting this error like 10times per day, its kinda annoying. These errors came with revelry event. Any tips how to fix it? [b]Thanks Guardians for answers![/b]

  • From what I can figure, Weasel is when you can't talk to one of the Destiny game servers. For example, when they go into maintenance and everyone gets kicked out of the game world, you get Weasel. Saxophone is comes up when the game loses it's authentication session. That can happen if you idle too long, and it doesn't refresh (that's a Saxophone loop that only gets fixed by closing and reopening D2 - I know that's not your issue, just describing it). Other ways to get Saxophone is if someone else is using your account on a different computer, or your account doesn't have access to the D2 content. My guess, is that you are losing your connection to whatever you need to be connected to on Bungie's side, and it's also affecting the authentication session as well. I would verify that you are not having any blocked connections/ports. You might need to speak to your ISP on that. I'd make sure you have UPnP enabled in your router as well, and if you are using WiFi, switch to wired (I think you are, but just verifying).
