Wait. Did the pvp players get auto shotties nerfed? Trench barrel? Whisper? Oh god not whisper, what did we whine to get that nerfed? Honestly dude, you're just stirring the pot here. You do know that the reason things got nerfed was because of bad pvpers and pvers complaining about getting killed by something. For gods same man, you guys whined about a damn timer. "Fun weapon that's not so easy to get" Sounds like a Luna's to me there bud. If op gets nerfed, it's justified. It's legit my second favorite exotic, but a primary 1 phasing most raid bosses is a bit much, doesn't matter how you slice it. A little tip, if you want to prevent something from getting nerfed, give a reason instead of talking trash to half of the community.

  • But they are trash. If they wont “get gud” and -blam!- instead, ya trash. PvP players want to run around with shotguns and sliding through doors the entire time. Take that “strat” away from em and the sound of a thousand children crying can be heard. Spectral just got nerfed. and for what? They move just like the asshole thrall that are taken, if you can shoot them, you can shoot the purple -blam!-. I’ve killed 2 out of the 3 I encounter. Only time I get killed by them is if I’m just -blam!-in around which I mostly do cause PvP is so mindnumbingly boring. It’s like where all the jocks and stone heads from the d universe go.

    It's obvious you don't play PvP nor do you like it, so simply stay out of it. You're being exactly what you want to complain about, toxic. Instead of countering something I said or being productive your argument boils down to "pvpers stupid and mean to me" which isn't a very good argument. The people that had issues with spectral blades were bad players, most of which pvers like yourself. Was spectral blades too lengthy? Yes, but the nerf it has now is a bit too much. Same thing with the Luna's nerf. You need to understand, the reason why good PvP players don't like pvers is how much they whine. I bet good money you're in favor of nerfing anything and everything that kills you in pvp, but as soon as it effects your "pve experience" you get mad and call it game changing. Please stop being so hypocritical and start making some sense. Edit: Some food for thought. If PvP is so boring, and so many easy strats exist, why arnt you going positive? Should be pretty easy.

  • Not trying to decent the OP as the fault doesn’t fall squarely on any one group aside from just generally annotating people. But... The Whisper Nerf was barely a nerf. If you hit your shots, you only need 3-4 bullets. The Full Auto shotgun issue was also complained about by the pvp community as it was by far the best perk on any shotgun in pvp. Rapid Fire wasn’t as prevalent, but Full Auto dust rock blues was an issue. I repeat. Not defending the OP, I’m just trying to remind you to think about the examples a bit more.

  • Haha, then why was Hawthorne’s the 2nd most used power weapon in year 1? It’s rare that I get killed in 1 shot by shotguns aside from precision slugs. Wishbringer and Ikelos are both common in the crucible. Yes Dust Rock Blues is a very powerful weapon in the crucible and all precision frames (non slug) could use a slight range nerf. But being able to fire off a second shot in a faster period of time allows you to secure kills at a significantly longer range, and now Full Auto does not increase spread.

  • Ah whaaa? Shotgun range is way more of an issue in pvp than auto fire. It fact more god rolls avoid auto fire even pre nerf

Can't get kills if the primeval dies before the portal opens, which would make invading useless and make gambit a speedrun for enemy kills. Strike/Raid bosses have immunity mechanics built-in to stop damage/stomp to keep close attacks away. Nobody playing pve cares how fast bosses die, but they couldn't make gambit bosses immune in the middle of fights, until Prime.
