I disagree. Invis is definitely more geared towards PvE. And the smokes deny entire groups of ads. Plus the whole melting point thing. So that's 2 (and a half?) Abilities out of its 3 that work better in PvE. Although really, this debate is kinda pointless. No matter which way you slice it; Bungie needs to separate PvE and PvP balance.

Sorry man, but no. Let me know next time your raid or NF or any endgame team prefers you to run that over tether or Goldy with celestial. It's for PvP. It always has been.

I use it a lot in raids. If I dont need dps, then I use it. It's great for survivability. Ads are no problem if they cant see you. And the melting point is helpful for taking down VIP targets like the knights in Kali's fight. Truth is, you can use pretty much every subclass pretty much everywhere. It depends on how you use them. But again, this whole debate doesnt matter because whether or not spectral was "meant" for PvE, people use it there. PvP and PvE balance have needed to be separate since the beginning of D1. That's still the case.
