I came back to try the outbreak quest but I needed to level from 650.
After a couple of hours I remembered why I put the game down, the levelling system and how you get powerful drops in this game is the worst I’ve come across.
Result? Turned the game off and haven’t bothered to turn it back on.
Good job bungie.

Lol u don't need any cores to reach max level...you ppl are weird
-
Did I say I needed cores??? You people are the weird ones, you never actually read or try to understand anyone’s posts, you are all just way too eager to jump in on the offensive.
-
Lol it's a core discussion....
-
You replied to my post, I never said anything about cores, I don’t need to I have 72. 🙄

Well in that case, I like to use smoked cheese for cheese on toast, i just love the flavour 👍

You're definitely not alone. I stopped playing and uninstalled this game shortly before Black Armory came out. Too many changes that I, personally, did not like. I definitely gave it a chance through Forsaken, because I still feel that Bungie has created one of the best FPS game on the market. Plus, I really do like the environments, lore, and artistic designs (armor has never looked too spiffy to me though). Unfortunately, that's about it at this point. Just too many downsides and, what I feel to be, poor and even restrictive design choices. I usually played by myself, for the most part. But I do also have a few good friends that I'd play with as well. As a part time soloist, I absolutely understand the frustrations that a lot people are feeling. I also completely understand that most of this game is teamcentric, not because of friendgame mind you, but because of all the different elements of difficulty that simply overwhelm a lot of solo players. I honestly don't see why solo players can't get some endgame love as well. Shattered Throne is a great example, yet again, the difficulty might be a bit steep for some. But oh well, we can just fuss off and play something else, right? Oh wait, we already have...😐

Yep I feel the same, it’s a beautiful looking game with great gunplay. I’ve really enjoyed my time with both games overall, but they’ve really dropped the ball when it comes to implementing core systems, they’ve effectively made the game tedious.
-
Even if no one else understands I do. New checklists to level up is not content. Checklists are boring and the game has been pointless for almost a year now.

Couldn’t agree more.

Actually you’ve got that backwards. This progression system IS Candy Crush. Blown up to AAA proportions.

You're really gonna pretend it doesn't get utterly monotonous after all this time doing the same thing week after week. You're not fooling anyone. You only commented because you felt like being a jerk to op.

Thats basically what happen to me, after months of not playing I fire up the game at the begining of the drifter season, I go to the tower to see the new "quests" and find out that the new quest was the same as all quests , kill 100 things, collect 100 trash, run 500 strikes, kill 100 dudes on pvp, etc. I turn off the game immediately.

So its bungie's fault that you didnt gain levels over time to do a 690 mission? Leveling is easy and on characters I barely touched throughout the season were easily 690. When you spend time complaining instead of playing you lose out, your fault.
-
Leveling isn’t easy. It’s RANDOM.
-
Edited by BlueKiBlast: 5/11/2019 2:59:05 PMIt random, but easy. Had he participated in the revelry he could have gotten high power gear for any specific armor "three weeks by the way" on top of prime engrams that always guarentee a higher light drop even if you go up by 1 light. It's not hard as I have said I barely played on my titan but I managed to get it to 690 to do the mission. Also in reply to your other comment I am not a troll, just pointing out the faults in others who blame everyone and everything instead of taking a step back and taking actions for their consequences. The man said he was only at 650 and left after a few hours meaning he bare5 did anything in the new season which means he is at fault but of course "I'm tHe BuNgIe LoVeR" whatever.

Not what hes saying, he’s saying how the levelling system is pathetic. Read what he says not what you want to see.
