PvP Base, plz don’t get outbreak nerfed like you do everything else.
Before the PvP base starts to whine and cry about outbreak, I’d like to ask em to well...not do that this time. This is a fun weapon to use, not terribly;y easy to get.
Y’all just got spectral nerfed, next casualty is Luna’s and not forgotten. Thanks PvP base.
Where has the whole “Get gud” the PvP base likes to throw around? Never want to seem to get gud, just want to use whatever you’ve always ran and wanna keep that pointless k/d up past 2.
I see Outbreak getting nerfed within 2 weeks or so. PvP base does not like fun, just whining.

4 RepliesWell so far it isn't [i]that[/i] potent in PvP. Good weapon but nothing OP about it. Then again...the weapon just became available. I honestly don't know how well it would work when six players in a team are using it. Or four in the case of Competitive.

It’s the pve players who are garbage at pvp who get stuff nerfed.

Edited by RPColten: 5/10/2019 10:39:23 PMApparently it's seeing remarkable damage potential when up against enemies with sizeable hit-points, so considering it's a primary-class weapon it might get an adjustment to its nanite-swarm damage. There are not many primary weapons (even exotic) that can be seen as damage dealers, at least not convenient or 'easy' damage, the next in-line being Malfeasance possibly. Whether this is Bungie testing the waters with introducing potential primary DPS-dealers, or an oversight on squads running the same weapon, time will tell. I'd wager that if Outbreak does get toned down, the leading cause would be PvE related.

Seeing the comments and having roamed these forums from quite some time now, since the end September of 2014 to be exact, I know PvErs are no saints, that is undeniably true, but PvP cries for nerfs are now PvErs fault too? I know that in your eyes you can do no wrong and its always either the filthy casuals or PvErs fault. Look back at everything that has been changed, balanced, rebalanced and changed again (positively or negatively doesn't matter nor is it a matter of opinion) and say with a straight face without making up more divisions to shift blames that its was PvErs that were always calling for nerfs, this franchise story/track record will tell you that you are not quite in sync with reality. That said, while the hate is already expected, pardon this guy self-taught English. Farewell guardians, independently of what mode you prefer.

Its just console whiners getting shit nerfed. Pc is pretty balanced. Spectral was always overtuned, but NF and Lunas on Pc are not overtuned at all. This nerf is completely relegating them to the sidelines in pvp.

Okay, this is a legit question to ask just reading your intro and knowing Bungie's sandbox track record. Just one thing though, what's stopping Bungie from listening to the streams if they want something nerfed?

There's zero reason to nerf Outbreak Perfected in PvP since a Bygones with Kill Clip is better. Even a Nightshade or Chattering Bone with Kill Clip are better. Outbreak Perfected is only gonna get really crazy with the catalyst since enemies killed by nanites will spawn more nanites and it may be like how Sunshot's explosions cause other enemies to explode. If it chains like that, then it's gonna get ridiculous.

Instead they just kinda make things and realize afterwords it doesn't really work. The basic game loop is still in need of refinement.

If anything it will be nerfed by pve due to the insane boss damage. Much like most nerfs of recent. Cluster bombs, Trench Barrel, Wardcliff were all results of PVE abuse.

1 Replyfyi - Outbreak is ok in pvp on console (ps4) but not fantastic in any way. Visually I think the stats in the gun are bugged but visual bugs don't really bother me. Pvp players usually aren't vocal about gun nerfs, but we are pretty vocal when shit like Nova Warp, Spectral Blades, and some exotics that totally break balance (Wormhusk, oem, etc) start to eliminate skill gap.

THUS RESPONSE IS NOT INTENDED TO BE AN ARGUMENT....The entire community got spectral nerfed... I’m not assuming your bad at pvp but those who aren’t the best at pvp definitely used spectral to ease the pain when playing pvp. That’s just a fact. Someone with less “skill” isn’t going to jump on a titan or warlock when hunters are running around whipping teams.. and that isn’t saying hunters are “crutches” or “skill less” or “op” I’m just saying it’s the same reason Luna is getting what you are all calling a nerf. I’m on the side of it being balanced in any way... I wouldn’t be mad if they took it out of the game completely. I don’t care how much time people spent trying to get it (especially if you got it this season with the new EASY MODE points system). To end this little big response, I hope the community can start thinking for themselves and maybe use a different loadout every once in a while. Winning is fun but it’s pretty boring to do so with the same guns....

12 RepliesActually, it's the pve base that feels "forced" to play pvp that moans so violently and to such excess that everything ends up neutered. People who play pvp generally play pvp and enjoy it. People who hate it generally come here to cry about how people with optimal builds are "ruining" the experience. Nice try though.

Well spectral needed to get nerfed it was way to good . And Luna and nf didn’t get nerfed because of pvp players it got nerfed because of pve players loosing to the Luna and nf in pvp

1 Reply1st time i took this gun into gambit and wiped the whole enemy team i told my friend that this gun was going to be nerfed eventually. I also think bungie will nerf hi impact fusions next season.

8 RepliesIt is usually PvE mains who go into PvP that end up crying for nerfs. *gets killed by _____* *creates post "PvP is so unbalanced, don't force me to play this, especially _____ gun it is broken.* Not once have I calledfor nerfs, cause I know even blue and green weapons can be used to make a bad players day worse.
