PvP Base, plz don’t get outbreak nerfed like you do everything else.
Before the PvP base starts to whine and cry about outbreak, I’d like to ask em to well...not do that this time. This is a fun weapon to use, not terribly;y easy to get.
Y’all just got spectral nerfed, next casualty is Luna’s and not forgotten. Thanks PvP base.
Where has the whole “Get gud” the PvP base likes to throw around? Never want to seem to get gud, just want to use whatever you’ve always ran and wanna keep that pointless k/d up past 2.
I see Outbreak getting nerfed within 2 weeks or so. PvP base does not like fun, just whining.

I’m a big pvp player. I don’t think the weapons needs to be tweaked. Like most weapons (This does not apply to pre nerf Luna’s and NF) it all depends on how good the user is. You can’t get made at someone for using a weapons that YOUR not good at. I think Outbreak is well balanced and can’t wait to see if Bungie brings back some more Raid exotics. [spoiler]I’m hoping for a certain fusion that could melt faces[/spoiler]

Not even that amazing in pvp. I like it a lot but it ain’t op. It might get nerfed because of pve and if it does I’m gonna laugh at the people blaming pvp for everything

5 RepliesThink people need to understand that people complaining on the forums doesn't get things nerfed/changed so much. If they did people still wouldnt be banging on about enhancement cores. Bungie uses data to define if something gets nerfed. Every nerf has come from something being overused not over powered. I don't like nerfs but sometimes they are needed to freshen things up. If 20/30% of population use outbreak whether in pvp or pve I guarantee it will be nerfed.

If it gets nerfed it's because of pve seen as it can one phase raid bosses easily and is a kinetic primary

That super has literally ran Crucible for the past three months. Bungie also did a good job not nerfing it too hard, which is what people were expecting. The majority of the pvp community wants underperforming weapons and subclasses BUFFED to be in line with the top options. Have you been living under a rock? People are PISSED that they're nerfing Luna's/NF. Why in the Hell would pvp players want to reduce the skill gap by nerfing everything into the ground? Even when they do call for nerfs, they want things toned down slightly, not nerfed into the ground like Nova Warp was. And people were pissed when that happened too. The ones getting things nerfed are bad players that mainly play PVE. They get shit on in PVP and can't fathom the idea that their own skill level is why they died, therefore everything must be OP. Don't believe me? Start looking up the stats up people you see on here complaining about Luna's being too strong. On that note, I haven't heard a single person complain about Outbreak. However without even looking I'm sure there are PVE players on here whining about the Zero Hour mission being too hard.

Its the same as every other 450 RPM pulse rifle (Nightshade, Chattering Bone) yet nobody complained about those. The only thing Outbreak has going for it is good recoil and aim assist. A Nightshade with killclip is arguably better as its far easier to take advantage of killclip than it is to Outbreak's exotic perk. Outbreak requires you to get a precision kill and then requires a person to be near the nanites in a 3-4 second time frame or the nanites will disappear. And even if you do get tagged, you can just back off and wait. Where as killclip, you just need to kill someone, body or head, and find your next target and go ham. Odds are that person will sometimes not know you even have killclip procced. Outbreak Perfected exotic perk is more of a novelty, but great only in a scenario where the stars align. But in a 1vs1, Outbreak is just a normal 450 RPM pulse rifle that looks cool.

Any time i see a person cry nerf: casual, hardcore player, streamer or not, i automatically dismiss them and think how pathetic they are. It really must suck to be them. Just play the game.

Some snowflake invader will say that he was killed by nanites when invading. Seriously, I will just have to shoot ads if I see an invader nearby. I used to do this myself with sleeper. Invade and stand between the ads especially taken then sleeper the enemies. Post Nerf is bad as you get killed while reload. I have already seen posts with 'must have outbreak' in gambit grind... I am not sure what is cooking there, I will join one of those to figure it out one day. I don't see this gun being used in pure PvP as there are so many better options and guns with better perks are easier to obtain. This is the only good primary exotic weapon at the moment. All the last pve exotics are trophies (thorn, lw) and I hardly see them in PvP or gambit. But all of the above is based on casual player hearsay. Even streamers and elites have yet to fully explore this weapon. Bungie being Bungie could just ruin it because one kid will find an exploit to ruin someone's stream or get an advantage which we haven't seen yet. Remember ToM from D1? In short, your post could be ignored as unnecessary war mongering against PvP or you could be back in few months and tell us 'I told you so'. Only time will tell but untill then, chill and enjoy the gun!👍

31 RepliesRiiiiiiiight, kinda like pve got whisper of the worm, trench barrel, bottom tree striker, full auto on shotguns, warcliff, dawn blade, machine guns, cluster bombs etc. But no please go on and solely point the finger at pvp when those changes came to better the game mode and not because you want the game to be easy mode and can't unequip ikelos shotgun from your energy slot. 🤦♀️

Check videos as group of outbreaks has stupidly high dps for a primary But hey blame pvp if you wish

You’re overly dramatic. I have seen this weapon in the crucible and it does alright, but it’s not OP whatsoever. I don’t think the PVP community will have a problem with it.
