Remove them from infusion. Nothing else will make anyone happy I think using them for master crafting and retrieving master crafted items is ok Personally but I think you are going down the wrong path. I have yet to talk to someone that liked the since vanilla D1. they get in the way of upgraded normal earned armor especially when you add unwanted light level to arbitrarily create another unwanted gear grind which is possibly one of the most universally hated parts of the game. Its like throwing away people time and effort continually. Not what I'd call fostering good will.
