You’re on your way to a job interview for that dream job you always wanted, you have enough time to just make it to the interview.
The road you’re taking is long and has no signal. It’s about a half hour away from the nearest town. You see someone on the side of the road with their car hood up waving for help.
What would you do?

I would stop. I can arrive late and tell the interviewer exactly what happened, which I think would increase my chances for the job rather than decrease it. And even if I was guaranteed to lose the opportunity for the job to stop, I’d still stop. It wouldn’t be right to just let the guy sit there.
