I am quite positive that I earned this and never received it, and a few edits featured are your best PvP players. According to Destinytracker one of whom finished last season at #1 in countdown.
I saw thee above video recently and as a collector of emblems I couldn’t believe what I saw.
I tag @A_dmg04 every time my work is posted saying thank you for supporting this side of the community.

Edited by Eriena: 5/4/2019 9:18:42 PMThere are a few crucial misunderstandings here, I'm going to try and clear them up. Apologies for the confusion. As taken from Dmg's tweet found here: https://twitter.com/a_dmg04/status/1037835016816844801?lang=en
Ridiculously happy to have an emblem specifically for featured Destiny 2 Artists. Make sure to submit your pieces to the Community Creations page on http://Bungie.net.
As taken from the quote only featured artists are eligible for the 'Artist In Residence' emblem. Dmg's tweet is a call to arms for artists and the Creations page is a hub for said artists to showcase their work. Occasionally artwork submitted to the creations page is featured on the blog or on the @Bungie Twitter. Only artists who are featured through the blog or on the @Bungie Twitter are eligible for the emblem. You can read further information in a previous TWaB here: https://www.bungie.net/en/Explore/Detail/News/47204
A few weeks back, we sent out a thank-you to some of our community artists. To see players bring their Guardians to life through content that’s handcrafted is always a pleasure. To further cement our appreciation for these talented Guardians, we’ve crafted our own gift of gratitude. Starting today, any artists who are featured in the Bungie Blog or through @Bungie on social media will be granted the Artist in Residence emblem.
With all that being said, if there are any instances of you meeting the requirements for this emblem please reply to this post. Again, apologies for the confusion.

Holy hell what is wrong with you?

Hello, Emblems are only awarded when Bungie uses a video creation as the Movie of the week or features it on the official Bungie Twitter account if it's artwork.

Just because you create a community creation does not award you an emblem.
