Guys, keep in mind that we, the luna and NF owners, had around 8 months the best pvp guns in our hands. It is time thaat we let others have fun too. PvP wasn't made exclusively for us hardcore sweaters.
I have my luna, I played the gun for 4 months without a break in crucible and I WANT THIS NERF!
Yeah, it took time and skill to get the guns but we had already enough benefit from them.
I will be happy when I can pick up my auto rifles again without worrying about lunas and NF around each corner.
And it is kinda ironic that you guys, which have obviously so much skill, complain about a nerf which would you only force to have EVEN MORE SKILL with the guns or playing guns which do require actually gun skill and knowledge.
I don't want to say that luna and NF are crutch cannons but I feel like all the complainers didn't touched other primary guns since they got the pinnacles. It is time that you learn to play other guns again.

I got both LH and NF, but I only ever used them if I needed a crutch to win. At least with NF, it has no drawbacks. Players use these guns way too much anyway, saw a guy earlier with over 20,000 kills with just his NF. Haha he's gonna struggle when the nerf hits.

I am open to trying this change out. I honestly wasn't the biggest user of Luna's tbh. But I still put in lots of time for it. (Stormcaller Solo Queue Late S4) I feel like this makes magnificent howl useless though. 150's can 3 tap crits doing 68 per crit. So what point is magnificent Howl? A better change imho would be keep it as a 180, change the perk where it is 1 extra damage bullet (same damage multiplier but only for one bullet), and buff other HC archetypes. Such as severely lessen or remove bloom altogether, etc. This literally makes other HC's barely competable. AND WHY DO PEOPLE FEEL THE NEED TO SPOIL ENDGAME EVERYWHERE OMFG

I have Luna, got it this season, and I could agree with you but I don't, let me explain why. The grind for these weapons is awful so after all the time and efforts a player puts in line, he/she deserves the BEST weapon. These are called pinnacle weapons for a reason! Now, are these weapons unfair in comp against people grinding to get them?? Yes they are and that's exactly why Bungie should have made some changes in the comp playlists and/or balanced all weapons in general. Nerfing is never the solution, optimize other weapons to be on par with Luna's and NF is the way. Why don't make a second comp playlist where pinnacle weapons are banned?? So one playlist where you can use whatever you want and another where you can't. Maybe create a comp playlist with specific loadouts that would put all players on par and only skills will make the difference. This would be a solution, not nerfing. Now, since they decided to go with the "Nerf soluion" they should AT LEAST make both weapons easier to acquire 'cause there's no way people are going to grind for NF to get a weapon that's the shadow of what it is right now.

Well they certainly found a way to get ppls minds off of cores lol. I honestly don’t know what side to take in this fight. I never bothered grinding for the weapons because I don’t really care much about PvP except for the milestones to lvl up. Yes they are a bit of a pain in the ass to counter but nothing like Thorn or Vex Mythoclast was in D1 Yr 1 pre nerf. But I can understand the frustration from the ppl who do have it since I too have had weapons nerfed into uselessness that I played my ass off for.

To me it's not the people who have Luna vs people who don't. I've had Luna's since it was first available but haven't used it much because I simply don't like 180rpm hand cannons + I always want to go against the meta and find it more satisfying than using the same gear and playstyle as everyone else. That being said I think the nerf is healthy for the game and opens more gear options even for the meta slaves out there. It was sad to see players use the same loadout 24/7 and now it seems many are upset because they don't know how to change their playstyle if simply using Luna won't guarantee winning every gunfight.

Lol, this reminds me of the d1 Vex, thorn and truth nerfs. Poor old vex got nerfed over and over again until it was a shadow of it's former self cause the PvP crowd cried it was unfair blah blah blah. It was an absolute beast in both pve and PvP. A true raid exotic. Thorn took a bit more skill to use after the nerf but was still fine for skilled players. Truth had some great times with that weapon b4 tracking was nerfed to hard. Now its Luna NF turn. They shined for 8 months and after this upcoming nerf will be fine in a skilled players hand. Lol, its not like the vex nerf

Gun grabbers every where....lol. It's a slippery slope people.......the only thing that's in need of a nerf....is the nerf train. I don't even own them, but I am sick of the nerf. Put out a quality product and leave it the phuc alone.🤣

If you have these guns then delete and never use them again, as a matter of fact, delete all you're pinnacle weapons then all of you can hold hands and sing in harmony, we are so humble and because of our sacrifice we made Destiny a fair game to play. Better yet, get rid of everything, that put you above another player. Never use your Super no more Power Weapons, no more Shotguns what else would you pious individuals like to get rid of. Let's go into the Future of Destiny; are you willing to do another grind similar to the grinds that it took to get Luna's Howl and the Not Forgotten. I'm damn sure not, I got this figured out. I'm joining the CCBCoD (Complaining Cry Baby's Club of Destiny) apparently most Destiny players belong to this club and this lobbying group is the only one that Bungie apparently listens to. I'm no longer going to grind for the harder weapons. I'm just going to whine to Destiny when a player has a better gun, armor or capability than I have; it's unfair so Bungie will have to fix it. I also know if I do it long enough and get enough members of the CCBCoD to cry with me I'll get my way and Bungie will have no choice, they will have to right the injustice of a player having something that I don't have.

These guns are basically headshot machines, they have no recoil and even people without any aiming skill can easily land 3 headshots. I will gladly see some meta changes once these weapons are gone. Right now there are way too many 'pro wannabe' players using LH/NF who have never been playing anything like CSGO and having no clue what aiming is. Yet they can get easy faceroll kills due to broken gun mechanics and pretend to be 'skilled player' at this game. So yea, can't wait for the new season.

So I don't get an opinion just like you "couldn't raid if you don't have gjallarhorn" . So glad to see some of the light trolling I've done today is bringing out the reasonable people. I mean I am a hunter main and let our nerfs slide since day one of the franchise. I know D1 Tripmines were the most balanced grenade ever and I stand time after time letting the scrubs cry because I know I can switch classes or builds and adapt. This perk is the second time I've really believe something was actual too consistently powerful that it's a crutch. First was when year 1 TLW ttk was so high due to it's bug it ruined crucible for almost 8 months. So using something for 8 months straight almost exclusively to the point it is causing serious harm to the playerbase both times. PvP comp players constantly say casual players are ruining the game and some public destiny personalities are leaving taking their fanbase with them when they are the epitome of the smallest minority being so loud that no one else is heard. It's a one time nerf to a pinnacle perk. All the other pinnacle weapons are perfectly balanced and just as strong in the right hands. PvE suffers from these idiots so thanks for being cool. Also you went the extra mile by updating that someone spoiled endgame so keep up the good fight.

the cry babies are just lazy im in no way great at comp but ive done the quest and im on the last part of it just takes time 1800 almost there lol but for what now I ask myself if its getting nerfed is there any point to trying to get this anymore ive spent time! on it trying to get the gun myself no carries and now they say that I just dont understand way every time I try to do something in destiny they get rid of the reason for me to do anything they just keep pushing me away I almost started playing warframe again wtf bungie stop being dumb
