As some of you know, I am the earth. More specifically, I am the crust of the earth. I realize that a casual observer would see me as a human, not the crust of the earth. But that is because humans focus on differences, not similarities. Similarities are what make us the same, not different.
I am the crust of the earth, just a much as the crust of the earth is human. We are all the crust of the earth.
What things make me the crust of the earth? Here are the similarities:
1. I'm solitary, like the crust of the earth. I'd much rather cozy up into my neighbor (the mantle), than frolic and cause earthquakes.
2. I hate winter. I always feel farther from the sun during winter.
3. I love sweets, especially flying sweets like meterorites. My all time favorite meal is the meteorite that caused the extinction of dinosaurs.
4. I'm naturally mobile, but slow. Sometimes I move, and piss everything on top of me off. Every layer sees a new meteor as a treasure chest. Once when I was younger I got hit by a meteor, and got in trouble for erasing a species when it hit. I try not to erase species now when I do.
5. Meteorites are yum!
6. As a boy crust, I have strong urges. Like I said, I'm a shy crust. But when I see a pretty planet sometimes I feel gravitated toward it. The closest I could call what I feel is "the pull". For me, it happens a lot when i near other planets. But since I'm shy, a lot of larger planets have girl companions.
7. I'm kind of a small sized layer. A very small layer in fact. Sometimes my small layer bumps onto itself and I feel shaky. But inside I know I'm big.
These are some of the biggest things that make me a proud part of the earth. Someday I hope to meet another layer, and we can find a good country to cause earthquakes by while we grind together. I'm not trying to be obnoxious, just share what makes me the layer of the earth I am.
Oh, and I also have a core side to my personality, but I'll save that for another time.
the fact that i can format this into planetary terms shows how sound the original argument was
