Do you know how to play poker? Do you play regularly? Are you any good or do you lose your pants?
Have a great weekend, cheers!

I use to do pretty well both in the poker room in casinos and in house games. I haven't played in quite a while, though, so who knows how well I'd do now. I would definitely be a bit rusty, that's for sure.

Spent a lot of my youth in casinos playing poker a black jack. In Oklahoma you can play at casinos at 18.. the nearest casino was only a 45 minute drive from where I was living at the time.. got to the point where I was floating thousands of dollars every night or every other night winning and losing.. I got a high from it(still do if I decide to go to a casino on the rare occasion).. after some people id known from the casinos lost everything including their families from gambling I decided that i should get off that path.. gambling can be fun and I love it but stay away from it for the most part now.

My problem is that I count my money when I’m sitting at the table

Used to play a lot with my family when I was younger. Haven't played for money though. I like to think I was pretty good, even though I absolutley do not have a poker face.

This reminds me of that one saying "folks that think they can and folks that think they can't, are both usually right" or something like that.

I deal poker for a living, so no, I don’t know how to play poker.
-
I’m just gonna walk away, might even run.

Much like Cam, I also lose her pants whenever possible.

When I was around, 23 I want to say, me and my buddy took a trip up to the casinos after pay day. He just got fired, so we went out to celebrate. (We were both pretty out-of-control back then.) Show up in the afternoon and he wanted to hit up the slots. I hate slots. He immediately lost $200 within a few minutes. He asked me for $200, and me being tipsy and making poor irrational decisions, I'm like, alright he'll just get his money back. He did in fact not get ANYTHING back. Lost it all. I told him that I can't lend him anymore money, so he dipped into his savings. Shits getting too crazy. I go to penny slots to get free shots and bottlenecks smoking menthols chillin'. Tip the waitress a few times and win about $20 just bullshitting wanting free booze. Time goes by, we hit a couple card tables, cannot remember the games, but he made a couple 100 and quit when he was on top. Which is wild for him to have self-control. Go to the buffet and eat to sober up some. Head back to our hotel room, which was in the hotel and it was very cheap. We smoke and head back to the casino floor. I only have $50 bucks left till my budget is out. I'm feeling pretty good, so I head to the blackjack table feeling confident I'm gonna make bank. He's with me too. 15 minutes in and he lost all his cash again, and I'm breaking even. So I tell myself -blam!- it, all in on one bet. I went all in, I don't remember how many times, and went from $25 to $600 even. I'm like holy shit, what a night. I told my buddy I'm done and he's like, hey man give me that money and I promise I'll atleast double it at the Texas Hold 'Em table. I'm pretty blitzed not thinking reasonably and gave him the cash. Went back to the room and passed out. This man comes up in the room, wakes me up and is like look at this shit. I swear on my life this man slapped $3,000 on the table. Absolutely wild night I will never forget.

I love poker! I always play with my family, and never for keeps though... I’m kinda good in that environment, but I have no idea how good I am up against people who actually play. I imagine I’d be decent, but I wouldn’t be winning big or anything.

Blackjack is my favorite.
