Exactly, so you wouldn't ever see those posts supporting cores because even if it contained good arguments and whatever else the "remove cores" people would nuke the post with dislikes.
Jesus, but if, oh I give up, then it’s not a popular topic then is it.
I never said it was a popular topic.
I give up, no worries man.

I agree with everyone that cores are bad, I was just saying that you would never see a post about cores being good because the people on this forum are whiny snowflakes and will downvote spam anything they don't agree with.
I agree with everyone that cores are bad, I was just saying that you would never see a post about cores being good because the people on this forum are whiny snowflakes and will downvote spam anything they don't agree with.
No one complained about the infusion system up till Forsaken. That's a year and a half of gameplay. Then, because a couple people who drank the koolaid of a steamer decided, this is too easy. Literally since D1 of Forsaken, there have been posts to remove cores. This isn't some new trend, or phenomenon in the forms. This is people pissed about a bad design decision, and are not backing down until serious changes are made. Any other time, I'd agree with your comment about the snowflakes in these forms, but this isn't really the case here.

The spirit of your post is correct, but the details are slightly off. No one complained about CORES until Forsaken. Complaints about the MILESTONE system actually started with Warmind. Bungie began their effort to THROTTLE progression with Warmind....and people started to complain then. But the complaints were mild because people were also looking for reasons to play. So they largely tolerated the changes. The real push back came---as you mentioned---with Forsaken. That's when Bungie REALLY moved to smother progression....and to break the relation of progression to player time-investment by dramatically raising the cost of infusion, adding cores as part of that cost..... ....and intentionally undersupplying the game with cores.

I mean snowflakes in the sense that most people don't care about well constructed arguments and if they disagree they will downvote it.
