Which faction did you join in Fallout 4? (Warning: May contain spoilers)
I chose the Brotherhood.
Figured they had the best chance, with the least human casualties.

I joined the institute for my first play through - railroad for the second. But I can’t say I particularly cared about any of the factions in that game. The main story was pretty weak. I just played it for the exploration and the side quests.
