Downvote brigades cast by the "remove cores" population would make those posts impossible.
But surely if cores were so popular the down voters would fail??
Edit: no answer lol.

Edit: no answer lol.
You edited this part 2 hours after I replied to you "lol".
Haha! Look at how you started your replies to me then look at your answer, you are basically contradicting yourself, rendering your first reply pointless. 😂😂

What are you even saying? You edited your post to say that I hadn't answered you even though I did 2 hours prior.

Did I say it was popular?
-
Did I say it was popular?
No because support for cores isn’t popular.
-
Exactly, so you wouldn't ever see those posts supporting cores because even if it contained good arguments and whatever else the "remove cores" people would nuke the post with dislikes.
-
I see your point, but doesnt that prove the majority of the forums are against cores for infusing. If the majority wanted cores, then they would be down voting the anti core threads and we wouldn't see them I also have seen several threads saying to keep cores. They tend to be created by people with an elitist attitude. Their main point being I have cores so you just suck.
I see your point, but doesnt that prove the majority of the forums are against cores for infusing.
They probably are.
If the majority wanted cores, then they would be down voting the anti core threads and we wouldn't see them
That is very well what might happen.
I also have seen several threads saying to keep cores.
I've seen a few but they were all a 0 upvotes.
They tend to be created by people with an elitist attitude.
I have not seen this.
Their main point being I have cores so you just suck.
No, their main point is that there are so many ways to get them that if you use your time wisely, don't infuse every +1 light level, and actually put in the work to get them they aren't hard to obtain.
Exactly, so you wouldn't ever see those posts supporting cores because even if it contained good arguments and whatever else the "remove cores" people would nuke the post with dislikes.
Jesus, but if, oh I give up, then it’s not a popular topic then is it.

I never said it was a popular topic.
I never said it was a popular topic.
Sweet.
I never said it was a popular topic.
I give up, no worries man.

I agree with everyone that cores are bad, I was just saying that you would never see a post about cores being good because the people on this forum are whiny snowflakes and will downvote spam anything they don't agree with.
I agree with everyone that cores are bad, I was just saying that you would never see a post about cores being good because the people on this forum are whiny snowflakes and will downvote spam anything they don't agree with.
No one complained about the infusion system up till Forsaken. That's a year and a half of gameplay. Then, because a couple people who drank the koolaid of a steamer decided, this is too easy. Literally since D1 of Forsaken, there have been posts to remove cores. This isn't some new trend, or phenomenon in the forms. This is people pissed about a bad design decision, and are not backing down until serious changes are made. Any other time, I'd agree with your comment about the snowflakes in these forms, but this isn't really the case here.

The spirit of your post is correct, but the details are slightly off. No one complained about CORES until Forsaken. Complaints about the MILESTONE system actually started with Warmind. Bungie began their effort to THROTTLE progression with Warmind....and people started to complain then. But the complaints were mild because people were also looking for reasons to play. So they largely tolerated the changes. The real push back came---as you mentioned---with Forsaken. That's when Bungie REALLY moved to smother progression....and to break the relation of progression to player time-investment by dramatically raising the cost of infusion, adding cores as part of that cost..... ....and intentionally undersupplying the game with cores.

I mean snowflakes in the sense that most people don't care about well constructed arguments and if they disagree they will downvote it.
