They don't need to respond at all considering it's a small minority of players complaining about it in a game that's almost 2 years old.

Lol. Small minority? There’s only a small minority left that actually think Bungie will listen. Everyone else that was over the nonsense already stopped playing. Pretty soon there will probably be more joining those numbers. You are the minority. You’re going to be on the losing end. Maybe not with the core removal but with the consumer base removal. Fans of Bungie and their idiotic system do not have the numbers to support Bungie alone. You honestly think after 2 years of crapping on their consumer base anyone other than their devout fans will buy Destiny 3, if they’re even able to deliver one?? I know people with blind faith are delusional to an extent but you gotta be one dense human to think this will be ending well for you and Bungie. Remember, Bungie defender, Bungie needs wallets more than wallets need Bungie. Player numbers were pretty low yesterday. I imagine you should prepare for that to be a continuing trend, as it has been for the last 2 years. Tighten up that belt boy, you’re in for a rough ride.

I just come here to laugh at the people whose lives revolve around this game and think things will change. Sounds like you got it all figured out though. Thanks, child.

How do you know it's a small minority though? There's heaps of different posts and comments about this everywhere. There's more who believe there's a problem than there are of those like yourself who laugh at the problem and say it doesn't exist. Also yes, Bungie DO need to respond for it to be a conversation, otherwise it's not a conversation.
