We don't know what the tasks of the bounties could be yet. It might be something like use X weapon type to get 30 kills in Quickplay and in addition to a core, mod, and materials, you get +50 Glory win or lose.
Honestly it's not much different than some of Drifter's bounties that let you do other activities than Gambit or Prime to get some infamy points.

Edited by Tybraius: 4/10/2019 10:13:28 PMI had no idea Drifter had bounties that allowed you to gain infamy outside of Gambit/Prime because I never do Drifter bounties. That makes no sense to me but it's OK to me just because they're the Drifter's bounties, and the reason you do Drifter bounties is for Drifter things. Simply put, If I'm doing Banshee bounties then I'm expecting Banshee things. I know one thing for sure: if Bungie is going to do 2 bounties, one better always be a PvE bounty and the other better be a PvP bounty when it comes to using guns to kill things. I do not want to come to these forums and Reddit and see that bad RNG has caused Banshee weekly bounties to be only PvP bounties for 6 weeks like how the daily clan bounties would just have times where there were no PvE bounties. They said multiple daily bounties and 1 weekly bounty. So either they're gonna do something like 1 daily bounty per PvE, PvP, and Gambit, or like up to 5 bounties that are all random, but guaranteed to have at least 1 bounty for each activity like they did with Hawthorn. After the feedback about Hawthorn's though, I expect more equal share of bounties.

Double checked and it is 2 weekly bounties but I hear you. Hopefully they do balance the daily ones better. I'd personally like to see the daily bounties be Playlist-agnostic. I'd be cool with "Defeat X enemies with Y weapon. Guardians and powerful enemies are worth more"
