Wow! 2 cores for an entire week. And daily bounties each giving 1 core. I feel so rewarded. Tone deaf developers.

  • I honestly wonder. Is it that whoever's pet project this is in the dev team is really hopelessly obtuse? Or that they simply think a good chunk of the player base and game critics are? It's truly mind boggling.

    Salty people gonna be salty. Math out: Likely 5 dailies, 2 weeklies: that’s 37 cores per character per week. Plus the 7 per character from Hawthorne we get to 132 cores per week, guaranteed. No rng involved. That’s good for 66 infusions per week. That doesn’t count the ones you can buy from spider daily or rng dismantles. There aren’t even 66 powerful reward milestones available, and out of those milestones, some will likely be dupes or potentially lower than your current high because a few pieces are ahead of your average. Once you are capped on level, that’s also worth about 7 pieces fully masterworked, per week. This is a reasonable change.

  • Yes per character. I feel no incentive to play multiple characters. Many of my friends on play 1 character these days.

  • I feel you with the limited amount of content and a season based around only gambit grinding 3 characters a week isn't only a drag but kind of pointless.

  • And if you don’t play that many characters, you don’t need as many cores to masterwork multiple sets of gear and infuse multiple sets of gear for each character.

  • And then You've spent hours of your game time each week chasing core bounties instead of playing what you logged on to play. Some people don't have an hour or two each day to devote to core bounties. The last f$&#ing thing this game needs is more bounties.

    If a player doesn’t have time to do “kill 30 enemies with solar damage” bouties for core and mods, thy aren’t really the target audience...

  • Sure. The target audience is the 500k or so people still playing. I'm sure that's exactly the sales figures Bungie wants the next time they release a game/expansion. How long do you suppose you can pay nearly 1,000 employees with sales like that?

    I'm more inclined that we may get Gunsmith weekly bounties like Spider, that gives ONE core per bounty and all of a sudden those 37 cores per week just came down to 7 per week. Also I never got 7 cores from Hawthorne, never.

  • No, at the top of that post, cozmo stated what was coming. Multiple dailies (I’m assuming 5 like most other vendors) each rewarding 1 core. 2 weeklies, likely easy to complete like adas “weekilies” that reward 1 core. As far as Hawthorne, it’s from a clan banner perk. Once you get it, the weekly milestone from her rewards 7 cores.

    Assuming 'multiple daily bounties to complete' is 5. Could be 4 or 3 as seen in other vendors throughout D2. Or 2 knowing Bungo. Or 6, we can dream. I think they need to pitch at 4 or more though given the loss of frequent and easy Scrapper bounties. (Also, 7 from Hawthorn is usually 1, but for a clan perk that many will not have hit, nor will hit.)
