Continued Enhancement Core and Mod Component Discussion
Hey all,
A few weeks back, we talked about Enhancement Cores coming from Gunsmith bounties in the [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/News/Article/47706]TWAB[/url]. I wanted to give a quick update on this, as it also involves Mod Components, which have been a topic of discussion as well. Please note- this is all still in development for Season of Opulence, and could change.

The team is continuing to evaluate feedback over mod components, enhancement cores, and rewards all up. Thank you for the continued feedback. We'll give you updates as we have them.

6 RepliesI should get 65 enhancement cores every time I complete something on mercury. That is the most useless planet. It's should never be a flashpoint or have any kind of weekly's.

2 RepliesI wonder why no one asks that the cores the spider sells just don't increase in price with every purchase.. that would fix a big portion of the problem with people that have hundreds of violet crystals (legendary shards)..

Just remove them from infusion or make them more common, simple. It doesn’t need to be as difficult as it’s being made out to be.

One mission left out Eris who handle the hive but one mission on titan ghost said “ we need to ask “ Ikora which spell the hive was doing back there” I was shock... Bungie really wipe all of destiny 1 certain characters and lord Saladin don’t remember us as young wolf’s or the new iron lords. Playing from the beginning on this account just crazy how much change from Destiny 1 vs Destiny 2.

Let the Masterwork level also goes up as we use the weapon/armor? Just like how we open up perk in D1.

Honestly, just switch out Enhancement Core with [b]15-25 Gunsmith Materials[/b], it even states "[i]Materials that may be useful for modifying weapons and armor.[/i]" implying that it suppose to have been upgrade material like Weapon Parts & Armor Materials! I don't understand why make things complicated with these Gunsmith Bounties, we already have too many Bounties!

1 ReplyEh I can live with that it’s not as bad as people say just having a higher leveled armor or weapon weather it’s equipped in inventory or even in the vault your power level will keep going up I just need to be careful of what I infuse right?

4 RepliesI was thinking last night how fully masterworked gear doesn’t drop enough outside of curated rolls. What if we had a masterwork legendary engram, not a powerful drop, just counts as a legendary drop that drops a random fully masterworked armor piece or weapon. Don’t like the weapon or armor piece? It’s still 7 masterwork cores easy.
