See, the more great ideas and things that I see in this thread? The more I realise that it is quite possible that Bungie are going to use those ideas as selling points for DLC. "Next Annual Pass, we will be introducing Perk Rerolling!" "Hold onto your hats, Sparrow Racing League is back!" "Do you hear the howl? We're bringing back Gjallarhorn!" "Armsday is making a return!" It's such a shame, really. There is enough demand for these things, AS WELL as the removal of Enhancement Cores from Infusion, but they are going to paywall the already miniscule playerbase and any returning players to access these changes. Instead of adding these changes for free, which would absolutely boost Bungie's goodwill and player numbers by a shitload, they're just going to try to make a quick buck. [b]Y'know, frankly, I think that is incredibly bullshit.[/b] So, I challenge any Bungie developer or executive who reads this, whether it is through the community managers or by simply lurking this topic like usual... after Season of Opulence, how about actually coming on stream yourselves? No Deej to host, no script, none of that shit. Come on stream and actually offer something impactful and meaningful to the playerbase for [b]free[/b]. If you want to go back to the glory days, where you have a incredibly large community that supports you and actually WANTS to be a part of your game? Where they know, with 100% certainty, that you are not going to lie or twist words or make false promises ever again? Remove Enhancement Cores from Infusion. For free. Add perk rerolls. For free. Reintroduce SRL. For free. Rebuild the ENTIRE Year 1 loot pool to include random rolls. For free. Add previous Eververse armor to the general loot pool with random rolls. For free. Rebalance the recoil and remove the bloom of HCs in the game on consoles. For free. I can guarantee you that it will be a slow start. You will begin to see people trickle back in slowly if you make all of these changes for free right now. No waiting until September. No waiting until Destiny 3. Do this now and re-earn the goodwill you have so diligently crushed beneath your boots again and again for whatever bullshit excuse you continue to come up with. Show us that you have the balls to do it.

Whelp, logged in today to play Destiny 2 for my weekly ritual of hanging out with friends. Last week, I jumped on TWICE to run the new Outbreak Perfected dungeon, which took two days of trying for me and my friends, but eventually we got it done at the very last, last, last second. It felt great. I love 3 man dungeons. I've loved all 3 man dungeons that have been presented to do. I hope you do more of them, more often. After completing the dungeon I was feeling good enough that I was considering rewarding Bungie for their effort by purchasing some skins for Outbreak Perfected as a way of saying "thank you". Before doing so, I decided to think it through. As fantastic as I found the dungeon experience, I realized I'd already blindly purchased the Annual Pass on the hope that it'd provide substantial, meaningful content that I could enjoy. I realized that to date, the AP hadn't lived up to that for me by a wide margin. So, honestly, I consider the money I spent finally justified with Bungie finallly providing me with new content I greatly enjoyed. Also, I'd made a plege long ago that I wouldn't spend a single dime on Destiny, and therefore send money directly to Bungie, until Cores were removed from infusion. I made this pledge long before Bungie split from Activision. And long before this dungeon dropped. I made this decision after purchasing Forsaken along with AP as a bulk discounted buy... because I had hoped Bungie had finally righted the ship and not made a stupid decision that would irrevocably change my enjoyment of the game towards the negative. Honestly? I would LOVE to send some $$$ Bungie's way, espically considering that those funds would more directly contirbute to additional content I might possibly enjoy. When I logged in today, I got a message prompt encouraging me to purchase Outbreak Perfected skins from Everberse. But, I can't right now. And I wont. Until Cores are removed from infusion I will not spend a single dime on Destiny content. That content I've already purchased runs for one more season. After that... if cores are still part of infusion, I will lbe left behind and therefore I will move on. Get a clue Bungie. This system gains you NOTHING. But costs you A SHIT TON. Make the smart business decision. Get rid of that shit. Reward the hardcore by providing unique and meaningful gear. Don't stifle light level progression as a means of creating some sort of exclusivity for those who play more than others. That's not the way to go. Allow EVERYONE to progress. If you want to reward the hardcore, do so with meaningful and unique gear.

I demand that Enhancement Cores cost more to infuse into our Amazing Exotics that are not getting nerfed whatsoever. The Whisper after it gets its white nail perk nerfed needs to cost more cores to infuse like 150 each infusion. Because the Whisper is used like all the time. Totally not only used in like 1 encounter and then vaulted for everything else. And thank you for budding Shards of Galanor to the power level of the Aeon and Mechaneers Tricksleeves.

Is this being done so Bungie can promise to bring the power back in D3 ? There’s only one way to get through to these people and that is to stop playing . They don’t care about their players feedback
