Ok so, instead of being negative about your EC problem, heres a solution. Yes it involves removing cores from infusion. 1. Take the cap off of glimmer. (Let us be as rich as we want. Make an emblem that shows our wealth.) 2. Remove gunsmith materials from our inventory and make them a currency. (Slap them bad boys right next to our glimmer count.) 3. Have infusion cost 5,000 glimmer 50 gunsmith mats and 50 legendary shards along with 50 planetary material. 4. Leave EC’s for master working. 10 cores should be plenty to master work. 5. Let us level and look the way we want to. I promise people that enjoy playing will stick around if they HAVE FUN playing. The gear that has been made by high moon or whoever has been the ugliest gear i have ever seen. Not one person here wants to look like a completed hobo while shooting aliens in the face with the weapons we put a lot of time into to “enhance”. We can be max light after three weeks of content being out and still have fun playing the game if you just stop ruining the things that make this game fun. A great example of infusion and leveling in general was The Taken King, back then being max light had meaning. People really did say, “damn, this dude is max light, must be a destiny god or something.” 😂. Forsaken was the best content drop for Destiny i have loved every second of it. The content is great, story, lore, triumphs and raids. The enhancement core issue has got to go. I have so many friends that will not play your game over this issue. Id love to see everyone who stopped playing come back. But what do i know? Im just an every day player here trying to make a difference for all the other everyday players. Who knows maybe they really will read this.

This is not a discussion. Bungie is simply deciding things and then telling us their decisions on one day of the week through you as a mouthpiece. We’re given no choice or room for voicing our opinions when there is time to still make changes or reallocate dev work before time is wasted and players feel like things are getting worse. The only discussions being had are behind closed doors amongst yourselves about what to listen to and if or what might be done [i]later[/i] about it, and us, [i]separately[/i] talking amongst ourselves where no Bungie employees enter into a conversation to actually discuss reasons why decisions were made a certain way or merits of feedback. If you want a real discussion, let players know what plans you’re making earlier and let us tell you what we think of them. Put out polls and surveys in advance. Don't just say "thanks for the feedback" and leave. Sit and talk back and forth with people to get a greater understanding of what we want. Tell us why you’re choosing to work on one thing and not another. Even if it’s not the thing we want you to work on most at that moment, it’s better for everyone if we at least know why and not lead us to assume that you’re just ignoring popular community concerns. You can’t keep treating this like an offline campaign game if you want to thrive, not just survive. Waterfall development is bad when you’re putting things out there and just hoping the results are good according to your internal goals and not the experience the players voice that they want, and opaqueness to informing your customers of what’s coming is even worse.

Well.... nerfing some of the most effective weapons in the game sucks, but thank goodness we have an Infusion system that is not at all cost prohibitive and allows us to experiment with builds, bring up and try new weapons, put together multiple sets of armor, and all without hours and hours of tedious chores! ... Oh, wait. No, no that's exactly what we DON'T have. We used to, but not anymore. Now some of the best tools in our kits are being nerfed AND the cost of Infusion is so high that bringing up and testing out alternative gear isn't realistic unless we want to do a ton of boring, mindless, padding chores before we get to play the game. Nope. Bungie's stance on Enhancement Cores and their sh*t attitude towards the same all but guaranteed that I won't give them another dime. Bungie's stance on the latest nerfs AND their sh*t attitude toward the same ABSOLUTELY guaranteed it. [u][b]Cores in Infusion needs to go.[/b][/u] (edited to fix a typo)

What about making cores and/or mods drop from random enemies or high value targets? Not often like engrams but not as rare as exotics. They drop as little pyramids... like planetary items only purple. That’ll give all players a chance at getting more cores/mods on top of what is planned next season. Plus it’ll make patrols more worth the grind.
