Gambit is a fantastic mode that involves a ton of strategy to beat the best opposing squads. I petition with u sir. Can we get a Balanced Gambit Esports scene? Or any Destiny esport competitive thing.. Plz we be hungry bungie...feed us

I see your point, but it wouldn't work - just as Comp Crucible didn't work. Once the pros get all the goodies, they just go back to the regular events and WRECK noobs for the wins and stats boost. They don't just play each other "for the challenge". The same thing would happen with GP.
