Might just be something that I experience but every time I land on a planet in destiny I tend to get connected to it. Like titan in D2 or the Moon in D1 there is nothing quite like it and each have a certain aesthetic to them which makes you instantly recognize them. Like nessus is lush with vegetation, Io is mystique and when the whispers became loud you knew something crazy is coming and the moon nothing can come close to experiencing hell mouth for the first time. The dreadnought gave you this sense of wonder and to top it all the dreaming city the pinnacle of achievement in world building for bungie they simply nailed every aspect of it. All in all destiny always feels like we belong there, like home ^_^
