Shotguns have already received a OHK range nerf and now you're seeing more fusion rifles as a result, hand cannons are not, and never were the only viable thing, pulse rifles still dominate PvP just as much. Auto rifles are absolutely viable even more so if you have things like the ringing nail with kill clip. Scout rifles are also dominant on the longer lane maps like midtown, vostok and radiant cliffs. And maybe not everyone will use arc in mayhem but that doesn't mean there won't be a whole bunch of people still actually trying these things out. Cores are annoying yet there are actually plenty of sources and as someone who only plays PvP where there is no abundant source of Cores i still somehow have 700 power on several sets of armor and weapons and 130 cores left over. I think his community is actually just spoiled children throwing toys out of their pram at this point.
