Fun little poll. Let's see who thinks what. Discussion down below if you want to explain your stance on the subject:
With all we know now... do you think D3 will feature a second collapse? Or do you think it's the smoke and mirrors to set up a secondary conflict in space (similar to the dreadnaught from Taken King)?
My bet is on the smoke and mirrors. I think Bungie understands the Tower and its significance. It also allows for other spinoff's similar to a Halo: CE when you first met the Hive.

And here’s your Thorn, Ace of Spades, Last Word, Mida Tool and so on and so on for a 3rd time 🙄

<Whoever doesn't believe the next Collapse is coming... I'm going to get banned if I say it. It IS coming. I don't know whether we remain in control of the City or not (hopefully not, adds more tension and makes more sense considering the Traveler is next to useless offensively).>

A proper Collapse would be nice. Really hope we get to see someone like Rasputin hurl everything he has at the Armada to no avail, just like the last time. The only problem I have is the city being decimated. It’s made clear certain characters are preparing for the coming calamity, Guardians being a key part in said plan. I could see a campaign where we confront the Armada head-on, only to slowly witness ourselves steadily losing ground as we struggle to find a way to combat the overwhelming threat.

Edited by Spooky_Ari: 4/8/2019 2:55:52 AMD3 will feature a second collapse but the "Veil" are just after the Traveler. No, not to revive their dead God or whatever, but to reincorporate the Material Realms back into the Void where they belong. Before the Traveler's falling out with the Deep, before it stole that power, in order to practice a different path accidently creating the material realms. In D3 they successfully recapture it, retake it, but not before the Traveler separates itself from itself and hides within you. A tiny spark, a spirit but just enough. A massive gamble, a final stand off between Light & Dark. The newly captured Dark Traveler, capable of creating Guardian-like entities, reconstructing the physical forms for the Long Forgotten Spectral Amalgamates known as the "Veil".. All known enemies from the past now join our cause to keep our way of existence, because if we were to lose. Everything would fall into Nothing. Even Hive. If you want to know what Nothing looks (feels) like. Close your left eye. Now, try to look through your left eye. You don't see black do you? Your sense of sight from your left eye is just gone while your right remains open. .. Anyway, with that in mind. You, your, us Guardians become the Needle. Without the Traveler on our side anymore, sacrificing it's true self to grant us individual ascendance we become our own seperate entities creating our own Destiny. Making the future truly ours to do as we see fit of the world that was never meant to exist.

New guardians instead of transferring our current ones is my guess.
-
Whatever it is I’m taking the wait and see approach. bungie can’t be trusted anymore to deliver a good product on release.

More interested in Halo Infinite, I may pick Destiny 3 up in year 2 with all the dlc for $60 bucks.
-
Other Destiny 3 will come, but our world and Destiny’s will be ruled by the sticks. Draksis will be back as the Kell of Kells, the Vex will turn us into milk, the Cabal will switch from military tactics to organized dance, the Hive will flip everything inside-out, and Taniks will be the Hunter Vanguard.
-
Well our loot has to be destroyed again so ...you tell me.
-
its been hinted at a lot. i dont think it will happen base destiny 3 but most likely a later expansion

I believe... That the Darkness will come, it'll have a massive presence on every single planet and will constantly attack out walls. Eventually they'll breakthrough but our character will kill the vails god just in time. Apparently the Vail are the Darkness creatures so...
