This week at Bungie, we’re getting ready for some high voltage.
A storm is brewing. Next week, we’ll kick off what we’ve been calling Arc Week. Our goal for this happening has been to take the element that makes our sandbox crackle and put it under the microscope. The most noticeable update is that we improved many Arc subclass paths from the time before Forsaken. The week will also feature Arc Singe and Arc Bounties to synergize with your updated abilities. To provide a proving grounds for all this new energy, Mayhem will be available in the Crucible to let you experiment with your enhanced Arc abilities using shockingly short cooldowns.
Arc Week will also feature one of the most powerful Arc weapons ever created, the Thunderlord Exotic Machine Gun. If you weren’t able to complete the quest to obtain Thunderlord last year, you will have from April 9 to April 23 to revisit the Cosmodrome and add it your collection.

Gotta be honest, I was expecting the Warlock's buffs to be from none existing to insignificant... It seems I was correct! All right... I'll wait for the day Storm Grenade is useful, in some way... And the day where the Stormtrance super has any sort of actual magnetism on PvP, proper PvP damage (specially against other supers) and actual damage resistance (nothing easier than taking down a Stormtrance user, with anything)... 150% damage buff after 5 seconds of continuous use? Sounds great... On paper... This clearly sounds like a PvE "buff" which is equal to nothing, because if you try to make the most of it and damage a boss with this super, the range is so ridiculously small, you will be sent flying on you back by every single boss' ground pound attack... Which means, you have to go at it again, try to get the damage increase again, which by the time you may start getting to it, the super will have been depleted since the movement while in super is painfully slow... On the level of the Nova Warp while charging the explosion, slow. Well... Let the favorite childs get the good and meaningful buffs as usual, Hunters and Titans alike... Not even gonna talk about the Spectral Blades and its inability to be toned down even a little... Or how top tree Dawnblade is still pretty useless in PvP, specifically while in super... Or how Phoenix Dive, in normal state or while in super is pretty useless and makes you a sitting duck... It feels like the area of damage for the Phoenix Dive while in super is -10 meters and only damages something of you stab it directly in the head... Or how there are no good Dawnblade exotics for PvP... Anyway...
