This Week at Bungie – 4/4/2019
This week at Bungie, we’re getting ready for some high voltage.
A storm is brewing. Next week, we’ll kick off what we’ve been calling Arc Week. Our goal for this happening has been to take the element that makes our sandbox crackle and put it under the microscope. The most noticeable update is that we improved many Arc subclass paths from the time before Forsaken. The week will also feature Arc Singe and Arc Bounties to synergize with your updated abilities. To provide a proving grounds for all this new energy, Mayhem will be available in the Crucible to let you experiment with your enhanced Arc abilities using shockingly short cooldowns.
Arc Week will also feature one of the most powerful Arc weapons ever created, the Thunderlord Exotic Machine Gun. If you weren’t able to complete the quest to obtain Thunderlord last year, you will have from April 9 to April 23 to revisit the Cosmodrome and add it your collection.

I'm not sure what y'all were thinking with the mountaintop quest .. I'm done with regular kills but rapid double kills and four kills in a single life is ok but good Lord y'all ask for way to many of then especially when heavy is the best way to do it and players camp heavy constantly ... I'd like to have the gun but the quest is way to tedious to hope you actually get heavy enough to do it

First time using the forums, so I inadvertently started a new topic with just a link instead of asking the question I wanted, so here it is again: Yay, an Arc subclass balance pass! Oh, they're doing Titan, and some Hunter Changes, and they're changing the Warlock trees so... so that... and they... but there's... Why does my Chaos Reach still blind me? Why can I not even SEE MY TARGET unless it's some kind of giant robot or angry space rhino? WHY THE UNHOLY FRAPPUCCINO DID YOU NOT FIX THAT? Thanks for the patch, the changes you did make seem good. But why do you still punish me for using Chaos Reach? Why didn't you fix it - during "Arc Week?" Why do you hate me for using middle-tree Arc? I'm going to start hating you back...

58 RepliesSadly there was nothing in this update that I have heard anyone ask for on the forums. No balancing weapon play. Shotguns and hand cannons will still run crusible. Only the Titans will attempt to use arc in mayhem as warlocks and hunters still have better classes. Scout rifles and auto rifles remain useless. No one can afford to master work anything as core economy still sucks. And yet again there is an item locked in crucible and I hear the cries about it already. We want it but don't want to suffer crappy crucible game play with an extremely negated chance at getting it. Just saying.

1 ReplyIt would be really nice and better for gambit prime if you got rid of wall hacks for invaders go and try to find an invader on deep six it's insane .. or invade and watch how easy it is to wipe the team the map is big and so many indoor places that it's almost impossible to find them

When will pinnacle weapons be back I didn't grind out comp for recluse not to be able to claim it .. it's on your hands bungie that players feel the need to exploit the game for currency just to use the gear they want ..

Everyone looks like a scrub and Vaults everything cool until we hit max light. It means I cant play like I want or playtest anything for a month every time you bump the light levels. Make light increases achievement based and take it off the armor please.

You seriously have to fix competitive.Losing points because of people quitting is not going to increase the longevity of the game.Probably been stated before,but it’s pissing me off as much as you not listening to our voices on enhancement cores or vanity cosmetics drop rates.

So tried arc classes. During "ARC WEEK"Nothing feels out of the ordinary. I've played so many hours Cosmo. And this no offense to your guys hard work. Feels bad. I just want shut it off finally. Arcstaff should have blink. Thundercrash bigger radius and more damage ect. I could go on. With all the supers. Leave spectral alone buff the rest of the supers. This is what you guys should test. Honestly to bring the game back to life you guys need to break it. Fun factor is missing. When using a super to a exception you should feel powerful. Snipers remove ridiculous flinch to compete with shoguns. Hand cannons on console the bloom. Scale all the guns. I'm sure all the crybabies here will shut up 4 while till your next dlc and bring a big portion of your community back.

1 Replythis new titan upgrade does nothing , you usually jump and dash to an other to hit and so forth, hitting to boost weapons when/if your hitting who tf switches to a weapon , 70% of the time you die how is this upgraded?.... from 75% of the times you die down to 70% ....is this how you calculate your buffs? what a waste of programming hours to these meaningless buffs that really does nothing.... i would of paid you devs for programming extra cores into the game... i got my weapon damage buff frontal assault boost only to walk allllllll the way to there spawn and have the buff gone way before i get there lol, what a waste of hours to implement such minimal buffs that does nothing.

Of course I would get the Dreaming City cosmetics right before you increase their drop rates, lmao. Sparrow 2 weeks ago, ghost last week, ship 30 minutes ago.

1 ReplyBungie if you need to take a break in the fall do it. Most would like an expansion, but If you need to recharge those batteries do it. If it means we get no new content, so be it. Come back clear minded and ready to take our feedback seriously. Play some borderlands 3, maybe you'll get some ideas. And look at the forums, jot down some feedback. This is not me taking a shot at bungie at all. It cant be easy updating this game constantly. I cant name a dev team doing what you do.

It’s So lacklustre , it’s more of a glorified update/ patch . Arc supers get reworked, 4 year 1 catalysts ( year 1?!), chance to get thunder and arc bounties . No new quests, a strike....I don’t know anything would of been welcomed. Up till now I’ve stayed loyal but come on bungie do something ! Borderlands is has so much to do , so many weapons, loot ....I could keep going but enough said.

Please bring back armor and rewards like back in d1 the armor the armor cosmetics heck I'd love it if we could create our own shades and please please please better looking armor for future events the d1 iron banner armor looked absolutely amazing for all three characters and please stop making the hunter cloaks look like they got stuck in a wood chipper.

This is a really good thing that’s is just all around good for everyone. Oh, and can we get the rest of the exclusives on Xbox and pc?
