Thorn makes competitive even more horrandous...

...than it was before. People are throwing games one by one. 4 times in a row i had this sh*t when people just left after first round (in my or in enemies' team). From my 15 games today i had this sutiation 10 times. And i'm not talking about all other pvp problems aka server lag, still broken matchmaking (was put 4 times against full stack and 3 times versus 3+1, being in full random or rarely 2+1+1 teams). I see people who dont understand what a competitive about and what it requires. What other people want from it. Also, they do not understand, that in quickplay, if you take for example a Thin Line you will get the same percent for kill as in compet by using something like Last Word or the AoS. But they will have more people running around, aping or smth, so more kills in the same time, so more % gained in the end. So it's either leaver or a totally unprepared man who can't do simple point capturing, just standing and hugging his point. This maybe works in quickplay mayhem, but not in competitive. This problem persists because there is no heavy enough punishment for leaving before match ends. My suggestions are: 1. Being banned from PvP for couple of hours. All of PvP activities, not talking about competitive only. Even 30 minutes is not a problem for people who throw games like that. They will have stuff to do anyway. Couple of hours, even more. So they can't hurt other people for a long time after that. 2. Not counting progress for any PvP related quest / Triumph for next 3-5 games. 3. Setting both Glory AND Valor rank like 300-500 back. Or even straight dividing it be half. Again - i'm not talking about just "a-ta-ta!"ing to these people, i'm talking about actual punishment for people who dont think about others. Also, maybe some protection for throwed teams: 1. Not counting a loss for a throwed team or maybe setting back the progress maybe by half of what it would be normaly. 2. Maybe counting a win for the same amount - 2x or 1.5x for tryharding. *first one mentally will be appreciated better then second* The draw is not a choice because that's a punishment for the opposite team, and they are harmless in this situation. And last one - internet connection counts. As much as your skill. You must come prepared for competitive games. If you have bad internet connection and "yeah, he DC'ed because his internet sucks" - DO NOT COMPETE. You're throwing games for other people by that attitude.
