Can we Adress Spectral Blades' Super Duration?

Now, I know what 1/3rd of you will be saying. SpEcTrAl BlAdEs iS FiNe. you're wrong. It has a great neutral game, and a great super. The problem? You can literally spam the attack button and still get a 7th column by going from one end of these tiny maps to the other. Spectral Blade super is the one super in the game that has the ability to spam the attack button endlessly, without any major loss in duration. This makes it an obvious choice for running as many people as you can with spectral blades in competitive. Nova Warp was absolutely castrated, but people are still trying to use it. They get about 4 charged attacks per super, so it requires they pick a good time and place to use it. Spectral has invisibility, high mobility, insanely fast, one shotting attacks, and deceptively high resilience even after nerf. I'm not asking for the power of the super to be reduced. I want the duration brought down, by a significant margin. My thought: Reduce natural duration by about 5%, not a major change. But make each blade swipe take about 10% super, instead of the......1% it currently does? Thoughts on this? And seriously, even if you disagree, state why. But don't sit there as a spectral blades main and try to defend it like it's not the most annoying thing to see in crucible since OEM came out.

  • I've mained spectral blades since the beginning of forsaken because I fell in love with the pure strength of the neutral game and with the super itself, even before it recieved a buff. The only problem before was the bad hit detection. Now, it is just a better Arcstrider with a better neutral game and absolutely OP. I still use it because of the neutral game and I'm able to shut down enemy spectral blades with about 50% success ratio, but the super should be patched again. BUT: I have to say that the duration of the super isn't the problem with it, it is the damage resistence. If they would set the damage resistence to about 10%, the super would be balanced in my opinion. If you use light attacks for faster movement, you will be seen on the map and you can be killed easily. However, if you use the super as a stealth super (as it should be), you won't be that fast because you want to stay invisible for as long as you can. That would justify the length of the super, because you can't just run into multiple enemies without being killed - people would have to use it in a smarter way: From stealth, sneak up behind the enemy, get a quick kill and disengage invisible. That is how the super should be. The neutral game should be the most powerful part about the whole subclass.
