Just curious as to how much people invested enough to post on the forums actually play. My play time has been in steady decline for the past few months. Got all of the gear I wanted from Black Armory, and I have no real issue with Season of Gambit, but I just don't find myself compelled to load up the game.
I used to play daily, and it's not like I am playing anything else at the moment. I just don't feel that "need" to log in and do anything in particular. Nothing to do with cores, or how good/shitty PvP is, honestly, I really couldn't tell you why I don't play, other than the games is just not that engaging.
You?

Edited by LEON3XR: 3/31/2019 4:07:32 PMI would play more if matchmaking makes all players in the lobby have similar ping with a maximum difference of 100ms where we don't have so ridiculous trades happening with the existing network structure as we do now where latency allegedly is the first priority which I really press X for doubt on
-
I would play waaaay more if cores weren't an issue.
-
I haven't played since February lol. I honestly don't understand why I'm still here. At least I only really post on #offtopic instead of here
-
I haven't played since Season of the Drifter started. Gambit isnt fun to me, and everything else is a chore I've already done countless times. I check the forums and post here and there to see what's what and all the new happenings to see if anything worthwhile is coming out, but that's it. To say it plainly: The game is stale now. It's not fun.
-
Same. Used the play daily, then once a week for a raid, now I check in every couple weeks. New exotics are always old hand cannons. Enhancement cores are chores; a lot of time spent doing mundane things to grind for a tiny amount of cores when you need a stack which ultimately distracts from the stuff you want to do. Not to mention all the loose ends in the triumphs/collections because RNG is brutal and kills the joy by making all my grinding turn out duplicates. There are other games that are fresh, fun and don't require multiple fruitless grinds available to play. I'll keep checking in but this annual pass feels like a significant waste of money.

Way, way less than before. Some weeks, I haven’t played at all, and I used to play this game all of the time. Yeah, the shooting mechanics can’t be beat, and that part of the game is fun, but that’s about it. I having more fun playing other games right now, and hope the powers that be at Bungie right this ship sooner rather than later.
-
I play more now than i have in the past because im chasing not forgotten, but i’m a couple wins off now and once i get it i don’t see myself playing much.
-
Was in the top 2% of time played now I just on to do the bounty from xur and maybe play a few things but not long. With division 2 and then boarderlands 3 coming out its time to play real looter shooters. Instead of a game that makes you grind for the soul purpose of padding stats. If you look at some of the more popular streamers are even getting away from destiny. The downward spiral has started and activision is not there to blame now
-
I hate gambit, went hard on Black Armory because I thought it was cool and liked the look of the weapons. I even had thoughts of trying to get the title. After 5 weeks of no Jotunn, I stopped trying, and I haven't logged in weeks. Division 2 is out, i've got better things to do.
-
I feel pity for those voting ‘same as ever’
-
This is the least amount I have played since D2 launched. I hate the current state of the game.
-
Still play but cores are bullshit.

Edited by Seraph: 3/29/2019 7:09:03 PMI flat out quit back in January. I couldn't justify wasting any more of my time doing the same old shit ( that I'd been doing since September ) while getting diminishing returns. I have a high tolerance for repetition, but I also need to feel as if I'm getting a proper investment for my time and efforts, and I was no longer feeling as if my time was being respected.
-
Can’t access destiny servers for some reason anyway.
-
No. I've explained why in previous posts to you. The sad part is---although my playtime would have gone down with the release of Anthem and The Division 2---the extent to which it has decreased is purely on Bungie. Purely on their stubborn unwillingness to respect their player base...and fix what are clearly broken in-game systems. I'm already 60% of the way to getting the Oxygen SR3. Once I get that, I'm only going to play this game on Fridays to see the Invitation to the Nine Lore. I refuse to play this game any more than that in its current state.
-
A lot less , I like lots of others loved D1 I would just run around for hours playing but for me D2 doesn’t reward me for my time , rng is worse than before , I’m bored of doing things and not getting drops so I’ve stopped which is sad .
-
Starting to play less. I used to get up from bed and go straight to the ps4. Now I don’t really mind if I get on. Forsaken was fun as hell. Not really into this season.
-
Not even close to the same amount of time. As soon as vendor rewards and world drops all became as repetitious and desirable as an Edge Transit, I knew it was time to take an extended break. It has allowed me to discover some other fun games to play. Hopefully, someone will clear out the old, tired day one loot in the near future. It is way overdue.

I hit burnout grinding to 700 and getting a Gambit set. It’s weird cause I have so much to do this week in the game and have no desire to do it.
-
I used to play daily. I’m going home from work right now and I have almost no interest in playing. Only thing is triple valor.
-
I played nearly daily right up through Forsaken, and that was starting back in the early days of D1. I put the game down for good a month ago, and not planning to come back without drastic changes.
-
Not currently playing at all. Speak with your time.
-
D1 day 1 vet. Reduced playtime massively this dlc. Only leveling to 700 and farming reckoning when hc is that week. Will get vanguard and gambit pinnacles but beyond that hoping the next dlc has a raid and that borderlands 3 ends my addiction to destiny once and for all. My timewastedondestiny should validate my comment 👍

Edited by IXI GETBUCK IXI: 3/30/2019 4:32:11 PMLess because d2 pvp is trash compared to d1

I have played about 2 hours or so since Jan. Last time I logged in I was trying to get Jotunn, got it and promptly logged off. Haven't been on since. Highest char is 651. I used to play consistently everyday but this annual pass content just isn't doing it for me. Cores were never an issue with me, gambit is OK but its not something I would look forward to playing and I'm not much of a crucible player.

Have no reason to play. They removed trials which is the reason I bought the game in the first place soooooooooo 🤷♂️. Comps fun but there is no point in playing after you have all the weapons. Raids are meh. If they were actually challenging I might enjoy them a bit more but they just aren't. You can put yourself on auto pilot/zone out and complete a raid. Not to mention they can take longer with a bad group then it takes to hit 2100 in comp.
