The amount of ways you get Enhancement Cores is not the problem. It's how wasteful using them for infusion is.
Even if you have a few spare your left in limbo as to when you use them. What if your next two powerful drops in the same slot but you infused on the first drop. It's a waste. Until your drops are at the power cap it's a flawed system I believe.
And you can rarely use them to actually master work anything. I hope this comes across as constructive criticism as that's my intention.

just do away with infusion all other shoot and loot games have u refarm all the gear all over again borderlands anthem u get that drop at a lower lvl then when u get max have to grind for it again add in rng for a good roll too dnt take what u have now for granted
