Bungie,
It's obvious to everyone that Thundercrash damage is sub par compared to Nova Bomb or Blade Barrage. Both of which are one off supers, just like Thundercrash.
With the release of Gambit Prime it becomes even more apparent. When you launch Thundercrash and only tickle the prime boss while the Wizard next to you lulz and takes away more than triple of his health in comparison.
Are there any plans to buff the damage output of Thundercrash? Currently it's best to only use it on clearing thrash adds and orange bars. It's pretty pointless to use it on a boss.
Edit: thanks for all the upvotes guys.. Reading through the comments below its clear a lot of people want it changed.. Hopefully Bungie gives some feedback on this.

Thundercrash should do the most damage out of all the one-shot-supers (celestial not included). Its the only super where you literally have to get to a bosses face. With Nova and bb you can pop it from quite a range and not get killed by the architects due to the stomp effect every boss nowadays seems to have.

Edited by Athos SD: 3/23/2019 4:14:35 PMHonestly whoever is in charge of the creative direction aswell as the power fantasy of Titans needs to reevaluate and or get overhauled entirely. D1 Titans were much better , and if the devs "listened" and observed what was good in D1 instead of going a different direction ...I have no doubt Titans would have been better altogether. The amount of both pve and pvp builds built on synergy Exotics seem to pale in comparision to its counterparts.

Wouldnt it be doing less damage to the boss because you step outside the dps area(forgot its actual name)? I feel like it has a better combo than the other supers aswell, using your grenade into melee into super into going to town with a shotgun and finally when you get booped swapping to heavy and hosing them has been doing stacks of damage for me. Granted if it got a buff i wouldnt really complain 😉

Maybe buff ballistic slam to similar shoulder charge mechanic, where it’s not waste on a miss and u have it until getting a kill with it.
-
It's fine. Just needs more health when flying in super. You should pretty much be "unstoppable"

Edited by Athos SD: 3/22/2019 7:49:56 AMSorry but Bungie caters to Hunters and Warlocks. If it was a request for Titans it got thrown in the trash.

Thundercrash sucks, it is a one shot and you and up in the enemy area, it should do real damage to stuff.
-
Make it fly for longer as well.

Frankly, people on these forums are so obsessed telling people that Titans are the most powerful class. But I just don't see it. I love Titans. But they just pale in comparison to Warlocks and Hunters. They're typically slower, aside from the top tree of each Sub-Class, Suppression Grenades, Tempered Metal, they lack any abilities or Supers that stand out in terms of raw PvE Damage or PVP accuracy and usability. But speaking on Thundercrash specifically the biggest problem with it being a one-shot super is it's inherent design...It's just done all wrong. It takes like 1400ms to start up and start going. In that time you can be killed easily in Crucible for example. And obviously in PvE it's damage does not rival that of other one-shot damage supers. Why? Why is it so bad? Perhaps it's lingering DOT effect is why the raw initial damage is lower. But I think that should last longer, at least as long as the Pulse Grenade for example. And it's flight either needs to be given more range, more control of more speed. But not all at once of course. Just one or the other. It's such a shame because that mid-tree Melee ability is amazing for PvE with Insurmountable Skullfort and a must have combination in Gambit IMO. But in PVE and PVP both you are at a disadvantage if you don't use top tree on Arc, because more Super damage, unlimited one-shot melee with the same exotic helm. Etc.

It's like six-shot golden gun. Great add-clear, great guardian killer, and is used incredibly quickly so you can get back to charging another one fast. Plus it has the additional benefit of giving you extra mobility (there's some hilarious things you can do with that subclass's melee and super using a jump-pad). The drawback is its boss damage is terrible.
-
Total valid reason. It is a one and done super, similar to the Nova Bomb and Blade Barrage, so it should have similar damage output.
-
Yh damage is weak AF
-
And plz buff Nova bomb radius to the same tier as thundercrash
-
No. this super is already stupid, the turns it does is beyond ridiculous. it only need lights like cars to show im going right or left.
-
Bringing it to the same level as Blade Barrage? Absolutely not. Nova Bomb? Yeah, sure. I say this because surprisingly enough, Blade Barrage does OVER twice the amount of damage as a Slowva Bomb, so bringing that damage into a super that works like Thundercrash would be outrageous. I do think it needs a buff for sure, but probably just up-to-par with nova damage-wise.
-
Thundercrash should definitely get a damage buff to put it on par with blade barrage or nova bomb. In fact I’d say it should be stronger because of the fact you are the projectile as opposed to throwing something from a distance.
-
Yeah we had few weeks of glory as a striker Titan and then nerf
-
-
How about the longer you travel in the air with it the more dmg it does , just a thought but it does need a buff imo.
