Okay, so, I really hate to continue adding to the torrent of topics repeatedly calling to "nerf X thing", but I feel this is really becoming an issue, especially in Gambit, at least in my experience. Now, I play a lot of Gambit (On PC), so probably feel more strongly on this issue than others might, but if you've ever been nuked from sniper worthy ranges with a Hammerhead or a Thunderlord then you know exactly how I feel. From what I understand, these weapons were meant to be mid-range weapons specializing in add clear and controlled, sustained damage.
I genuinely don't feel it's fair that someone with one those two weapons can not only challenge, but completely decimate an entire team from across a vast majority of the map in Gambit and Gambit Prime, and in downright ludicrous times to kill, not accounting for rampage or the intrinsic Thunderlord perk, of course. Honestly, I like the changes to heavy machine guns, and feel as of right now, they're in a (relatively) good spot (I know there's ongoing discussion about how generous the game is with ammo, but that's a whole other thing), but maybe just crank up the damage falloff so that the two Machine Guns almost every invader uses won't be as effective from such ridiculous ranges. If anything, it might be more of an incentive to have a little more invader weapon variety and make for more dynamic gameplay overall. Ideally, something not as one sided as a rapid fire death machine that can 3-4 tap you when all its user sees is a red speck with a name above it.

I agree conpletely i love the machine guns in pve but pvp they just seem a little unfair at times, i think heavy ammo should only come from the box. That would mean more strategy in how its used. if they use it to invade they cant use it on the primevil. A guy with thunderlord wiped our team multiple times soon as he came in and didnt use it he got melted imeadately.
