An unrealistic Reality Bungie Wants to Keep Alive

As of right now Bungie is trying their best to hold the hands of the casual players while also balancing the hard core fans. It’s obviously a hard task BUT what should their priorities be?? Should they spend time cradling those who sign on once a week or those who pick destiny the second they turn on the console/PC?? They should be watching over those who put the time into their games for ideas towards buffs and adjustment. They should be recognizing the meta and buffing the weapons that are lacking to try and even the meta variety (non of these sweeping nerfs). They should be listening to streamers for potential insight towards new TLC and DLC ideas (Goth always has a positive outlook). There is enough destiny fans out their to keep this game a alive if they all returned knowing the game they enjoyed would return in full. IMO ~although it is harsh~ casuals should either learn to play in a game full of people who love to play it or leave. Because as of right now 300k players currently from 14m sales isn’t working. 4% players base... something isn’t working and most of us know what it is. Who knows maybe the community will become less toxic and willingly run carries on raids for whose who don’t know what to do (I’ve done my fair share of that in D1). Maybe the community will post PROPER criticism on the forums instead of crying nerf every day.... theirs a lot of maybe but it all boils down to one thing. Bungie’s focus on how they want destiny to be viewed going into future seasons and even D3. I wait for the patch notes to go live every weekly update to hopefully see changes I’d like to see. 9/10 times I’m disappointed and for that 1 time I’m glad and can’t wait try out the changes just to find out that said changes aren’t what I had hoped. BUNGIE, I want to love your game but as of right now the only thing keeping me around is the friendships I’ve made over the years in D1 (I know it sounds corny now shut up) D1 was an awesome experience and through all the dry spells that game went through a lot of us stuck with it. -298 raids on Xbox -3600 hours on Xbox A lot of us want these enjoyments back and we hope you’ll deliver eventually. *Needed go vent* for those who read this, thanks! 👌👈

  • Sigh. Another try hard who would rather see the game die than take a blow to his ego. The reason why the game has failed is because they made the game too much about sweaty no lifers thinking you were the majority, and now they discover you're just a vocal 5% of the player base and they didn't catch on until it was too late. There is no such thing as a casual player. There are normal players, and then people with extreme mental illness who need to seek professional help from a licensed psychologist. Anyone who had dedicated that much time to this weak of a game needs to get of the forums and go find a doctor who can help you.
