I would like to see higher Exotic drop rates, even if it means higher chance of Duplicates
Yeah. D2 just feels so Exotic starved to me right now. It's cool that Xur sells Forsaken stuff now, but I only get an actual drop maybe once every week or two, and most of the time from random enemy kills.
I have all the random drops on my Hunter besides the new armor, but in D1 even after that you would still encounter quite a few duplicates so you could get higher power copies. It seems like after how easy they were to get in Vanilla D2 Bungie got scared of players feeling like they were too common or collecting all of them too quickly. But I think that's okay, especially once you're in the Forsaken/Annual Pass endgame, and I think maybe even just bringing Three of Coins back more similar to D1 would help a lot for it not feel so unfair.
I would really love to see things like Sunshot, Riskrunner, St0mp-EE5, and Coldheart drop in game more consistently at a little bit higher power than what I'm at, to encourage me to use them, and break back out some Y1 stuff that's kinda been written off if you finished your collection back then. Speaking of, I know they're in the Collection, but it feels shitty to have to pull them out a lower power, and then spend the Cores to Infuse them if I want to conceivably use them.
Would be cool for other players to see stuff drop more often now more than ever, to get those last few from Forsaken, and when duplicates have a higher chance of being Armor because of Random Rolls (Does this still apply if you have everything collected?).
I just think with how stale the grind can get sometime, giving us a shiny yellow treasure to have a reasonable chance to be worth chasing could add some excitement back, instead of just doing the normal chores and rarely being like "Oh, an Exotic" that replaces your normal loot.
