Object Classification: Safe
Containment procedures: SCP-028 is to be contained within a standard 0.6x0.6meter (2x2foot) safe housed within the office of Site-OT Director, Dr. False. Only subject's proven resistant to SCP-028's anomalous properties are to be permitted to handle 028 to avoid unnecessary complications.
Description: SCP-028 is a link of bronze chain at a length of 0.3 meters (1 foot) with Corvin Tenebris etched onto all links. Carbon dating has confirmed object to have originated within 359 BC. SCP-028's primary anomaly begins to manifest when a human applies strain by hand. When activated, objects within subject's line of sight will begin to stretch and warp until ultimately, tearing apart.
SCP-028' secondary anomaly presents itself in afflicting a majority of it's users with a temporary sharp increase in homicidal tendencies. While common, it has been estimated this effect affects 86.3% of subject's. What causes immunity to SCP-028's effects are speculated yet as of [Redacted], remains unconfirmed.
SCP-028 was found in a package addressed to Dr. False by "An Old Friend" upon discovering it's anomalous properties, object was stored within his office.
Addendum 028-01
Dr. False retreived the package and proceeded to open it handling SCP-028 by hand. When handed over to Dr. Mathias, Dr. Mathias attempted to utilize SCP-028 to attack personnel. Dr. False struck Dr. Mathias in the head, knocking him unconscious and retrieved SCP-028.
Addendum-028-02
Interview with Dr. Mathias conducted by Dr. False.
Dr. Mathias: Jesus Christ... my head's still spinning. what the hell do you hit me with?
Dr. False: That's not particularly important. I think we're all more curious why you tried to murder a bunch of people with an SCP.
Dr. Mathias: To be honest, I'm not really sure. It was like I had to fight to survive. Like everyone had to be taken out or they would take me out. Suddenly I felt something in my head telling me to pull. Just god... my head's clear now but that was just intense. How did you hold onto it and not freak out.
Dr. False: I'm not sure. Didn't really feel anything while I was holding it. Just for precautions were going to have to keep you captive while we confirm what you said about the chain causing that. I'm pretty sure you understand.
Dr. Mathias: Hey, I'd do the same thing. Just make sure you get the tests done sooner than later. Don't need the wife worrying about an accident at the "Military research center".
Dr. Mathias was kept in confinement for 12 hours with a phycological evaluation conducted durring the first two hours. Phycological evaluation showed no further risks of homicidal tendencies.
Test log 028-01
Test: 10 D-Class were lined up and instructed to touch SCP-028. All D-Class used in this experiment showed minimal aggression prior to contact with SCP-028. 028 is covered and unable to be handled beyond touching a single link.
Results: Upon contact, 9 of the 10 D-Class became violent attempting to uncover the chain to use. One D-Class designated D-8833 showed no signs of increased aggression. Dr. Mathias is free to go, and further testing will proceed with Dr. False handling SCP-028 for transport.

So I've always had this idea in my head of Dr. False having this anomalous chain he kept around for personal protection since he usually tries to play the "I'm just a doctor" card. Anyways I hope you enjoy this one.
