Enhancement cores- The unpopular opinion

I’m gonna be honest gents. I think they are relatively ok Now before you go in the comments and rage at me (you know who you are) hear me out. I see a slew of complaint about how materials are too hard to obtain. If anyone can actually answer me on why they believe this I’d appreciate it. I’ve got plenty of materials and what I don’t have I get from spider for cheap. I am unable to grasp the difficulty of material because ever since the exchange was created I’ve had an abundance of it. I also see how no one likes looking at an ugly guardian and I feel that. However unless all you are doing involve Reckoning. I don’t see why you would have to infuse everything or wear the armor you dislike as other than reckoning everything else is fairly either under and maybe matching. Sure nightfall score may be one thing but they mentioned fixing that I believe. Even if they didn’t you still have the other modifiers. Most powerful activities are below 650 and if it’s decking you are worried about I understand, however why not do reckoning last? Why not wait until you are done with most all your weekly bounties and then infuse? You don’t need your power level maxed for most things currently. Please explain so I myself can understand. Maybe it’s my RNG but I have an abundance of cores. Lastly have any of us thought of the consequences for removing cores? Due to costs (aside from cores) making infusion relatively inexpensive to compensate they would likely quintuple (5x the cost increase for those who don’t know) the amount for some of the materials simply due to the material exchange and the ease of use for attaining materials. I don’t think we should expect them to remove cores at all without some large sacrifice that we would likely hate more. That in and of itself is a particular reason why I personally think Bungie is so stubborn on it. The economy could be thrown out of place. Now another option if they can’t remove it allow multiple options for infusion. Plenty of games do this where you can infuse something with a lot of cheap material or very little expensive material. What do ya’ll think of that? I’m just spitballing and I’d like to understand something without being cursed and raged at. So if you have a reason could you leave emotion out of it and simply explain your opinion?
