Go ahead, keep defending Bungies laziness. When they had their "please list quality of life changes for Gambit" forum topic, a lot of people asked for mathmaking to be better. Instead, we got a sweatier gambit. Why is it so hard to match 4 against 4? (Its not).

I’m not defending their mistakes. I know fully well how lacklustre this expansion is. I enjoy prime. As far as matchmaking goes, if matches are cherry picked then that increases the matchmaking time to get you with a team with equal stacks. Games such as Overwatch can manage because they’re PvP only so they can guarantee all their player base will be in a similar location (comp or quick play, extra modes excluded). With destiny, not everyone will be playing PvP at the same time. There would be no point in a rarely used algorithm. Just find a team rather than whine. It’s so much easier.

Oh no, I have to wait a few more seconds so the match can be paired better? What ever will I do? (Now you sound like the complainer). And don't tell ME to stop whining. I have a clan, but I'm still allowed to speak for others. Whether I have a clan or not, the matchmaking should be better. Period.

It would be longer than seconds. You have to guarantee that there will be a certain team matchmaking at the same time as you. Let’s assume the balanced matchmaking existed: - good luck finding a game in one month.

I highly doubt that it would take very long to match a 4 stack against another 4 stack, but what do I know. Any other mix of randoms and teams of 2 and 3 are whatever, but full teams should go up against full teams. OR just make a separate playlist for 4 stacks only. *shrugs*

A matchmaking only for 4 stacks would work, yes. But it’d probably still be dead because the common player would find it sweaty. The only reason I see for the matchmaking to not be balanced is because there simply isn’t enough players playing certain game modes at once. The idea of balanced matchmaking isn’t bad. Even I’ve wanted it in the past, but it can have a detrimental effect on games which are losing its players daily.

Something we can agree on :)
