I've been DDOSed many times and I'm a long time IT professional. I have all the tools to identify and prove I was attacked, and know what I'm talking about. I'm not just throwing salt out there. When you see a specific IP sending millions of packets to your router well before the TTL expires for each, it's fairly straight forward to see. By the way, I'm a beta D1 player and I saw it there in Trials and comp, too. Idiots are going to find ways to cheat and a competitive gambit scares the crap out of me right now in the current state of Destiny's network code and Bungie's unwillingness to crack down on people abusing it. I hope I'm wrong and you are right, I really do.
