Good:
• Great fight/action scenes, and there are lots of them.
• Surprisingly violent considering it's rating.
• Despite the memes about Alita's eyes, the CG was pretty outstanding.
• The world feels fleshed out and deep. Great costume and set design.
• Characters on the whole were pretty likeable.
Bad:
• Story was a bit cliché.
• Soundtrack was generic and forgettable. Huge missed potential considering the Cyberpunk setting.
• Forced teen romance subplot.
• A bit too whimsical for my tastes. I think it would've been interesting to have seen an R-Rated version of this film.
Overall, a pretty solid action-adventure romp that stays true to it's source material. It really feels like this was James Cameron's and Robert Rodriguez's passion project. Not a perfect film by any means but the good is good enough to make you overlook the bad.
If you're into anime or SciFi/Cyberpunk like me you'll probably enjoy this film.
I'd probably give it a 7/10.

Cool cool. I originally thought it looked a bit meh, but I've been hearing good things.

... It's not really my thing, but that sword tho...
not included in the DLC
It was good but the ending was soooo abrupt
glad they didn’t kill off the doctor guy tho
First impressions on the trailer, let alone its existence. WhiteWash, just another Anime/Live action adaption. It seems like a Kiddy/ Teen-Flick - Looking at the reviews now that it’s out: It is what I suspected. - Pass.

I’ve kind of wanted to watch this and given your review I will not avoid it. The trailers do look great, but then again I’ve seen amazing trailers for terrible movies. I’ll try to watch it before I forget now.

6/10 Ronin is R but Alita PG-13? Give Varvatos a break. Predicted a 6/10. Was proved to be correct

Was decent. Give it 8/10
