Tbh I'm not too objected to gambit as a game mode and I'll admit it has its enjoyable period, namely when on a streak with a fireteam of friends, but a whole season dedicated seems somewhat of a risky investment (which may yet pay off) The lore behind gambit and it's relation to the last word and the thorn is what makes me mostly excited and the lore on the nine could add more depth to a subject area which has previously remained elusive [spoiler]please have a teaser for the return of sweatfest- I mean trials at the end of nine weeks[/spoiler] and some of the content does look pretty engaging but seems like it would appeal to more of a niche sect of the playerbase. It's difficult to say where this season will take the game but and there may be a half month of content lull but this could bring some enjoyable content into the game. (Lore team keep it up btw!! Just wanted to thank you guys along with the other devs more making a world with such narrative potential which is really developing rn!)
