Stop trying to make literally everything competitive.
Hilarious. Whats even funnier is the fact that you think a looter shooter with random rolls on weapons and armor is the perfect game to have competitive pvp while also not ruining the main, good part of the game! 😁

Only two competitive modes dude. Blame the community for the rest. Honestly this community has been dragging the game down as much as Bungie has.

I agree with you baby cakes

Dude i just ranted and it felt good, love you.

Literally everything? Say something factual instead of your emotional reaction to content reveals. There is LITERALLY going to be 2 competitive modes now.

Heres factual information: Competitive is a trash pile, but youre right. It is in fact a competitive game mode. Gambit is also a trash pile, i thought it was competitive enough. I didnt know people wanted an even more competitive gambit game mode but here we are. Those are youre two game modes that are the competitive ones. However, heres how they push competition on literally everything else. Nightfalls have scoring which, they have in the past, put the best scores of that weeks nightfalls in the twab showing off the top three teams of that week. Seems kind of like a competition. Weird. Raids have now become a "race to the world first" where first place literally gets a wrestling belt. Why? Then if you complete the raid within the first week, guess what? You can get a cool jacket, but only if you complete it within the first week. Kind of like a, i dont know, competition? Since you didnt count normal Gambit as a competitive mode, lets talk about that here. Gambit is a mode that a very, very, very miniscule amount of people actually enjoyed. They went ahead and started a gambit tournament to see who the top tier gambit team was. Oh my gosh, another competition with prizes and such. Weird. When they had faction rallies, they LITERALLY made it so everyone competes to win. And the prize was a shiny new gun. SOUNDS LIKE A COMPETITION. They took out Trials of the Nine because, lets be honest it sucked, but it also wasnt as competitive as they wanted it to be, since you know, it was supposed to be an endgame competitive pvp mode. Iron banner is the competitive version of quickplay where winning actually matters. Shocker. And now theyre making an entire season dedicated to being competitive. You can argue "the reckoning is an endgame pve experience" but ill argue back by saying the rewards are only useful in gambit prime. Also, the reckoning has a timer and because of that timer i can just about guarentee you they will try to make it competitive in some way saying "how many kills did youre team get in the time limit?". There are only some of youre facts, i could go on but ill end it with this. If they stopped focusing on pushing competition on everyone in some way or another, and they focused on making the game fun to play instead of "WHO CAN DO THIS THING THE FASTEST/BEST?!" people wouldnt be leaving.
