You know, I dropped Destiny 2 as a soon as Anthem released. Anthem isn't perfect, but they released a game that is fun. I suggest you guys take a look and see exactly what you're doing wrong. Also, pick up the division 2. I will be playing that once I'm done with Anthem.
Sorry, you guys at Bungie (also in part to Activision) killed Destiny 2... I surely won't be returning however, I wish you well in the future.

didnt you see dmg post ? he doesnt play d2 he plays anthem and apex...
-
NO. Anthem is broken and you can bet your a$$ that The Division 2 will be broken upon release as well. Games as a service is a scam. "Buy our beta for $60 and we'll drip feed you content in exchange for more money." No more buying half finished games for me. Passed on Anthem and will pass on Div2. Just like I'm choosing to pass on D2 now.

Edited by W33DEDPLAGUE: 3/1/2019 4:04:52 AMUnpopular opinion of the week. I haven't played Anthem, nor do I intend to based on the "rave" reviews it received lol. They are already scrambling to fix their loot system among other problems, yet Bungie should look to them for help? Ok, if you say so.
-
At least Bioware is fixing their game in a timely manner. Bungo waits and waits and waits and then "fixes" $hit that doesn't need fixing. And no, I didn't buy Anthem but I see them communicating with their player base every day and rolling out patches and fixes multiple times a week.
-
If you dont play a game, you cant really give any form of good review of it
-
They are already scrambling to fix their loot system among other problems
That's part of the launch of every loot-based game, there champ. Totally expected. Bungie is 5 years in and still haven't gotten theirs right. It took Massive a year and a half to get theirs right with The Division. So yes, Bungie should be looking to developers with more experience at these kinds of games for solutions.....but they refuse to. Which is why we're here.

See ya

LOL that's hilarious. I was super-hyped for Anthem, even removed Destiny 2 from my Xbox... but after a week of Anthem, its just stale, lackluster and boring... Flying around is cool and the world environment is top-notch. but almost everything else is lackluster: loot, guns, story, missions, enemies... So here I am back again at Destiny where it may not be perfect... but it's generally pretty good. The grass unfortunately isn't that much greener at Anthem...
-
Define: "Lackluster". You sound like someone who is chasing after a feeling, rather than looking to have fun.
-
Edited by i7 ICEMAN: 3/2/2019 5:03:14 AMLackluster defined = lacking in vitality, force, or conviction; uninspired or uninspiring Unfortunately that's what Anthem felt like to me, just a hollow shell. Cool armor and flying around... but not much depth. I realize Destiny has been in the same situation at various points, especially right after launch. Vanilla D1 and D2... so eventually Anthem may add enough content, but right now it gets old pretty fast. Destiny has a lot of holes also, but there is substantially more content in Destiny, and the guns as loot are much better, and the gunplay is superb. Looking forward to new content on 3.5.19.
-
So your complaints are purely subjective? Other than expecting a game that is a week old to have the same content as a five year old franchise (Destiny)..... ....and you didn’t play that game long enough to realize that the loot aren’t things, but the powers you acquire along the way. As well as not playing long enough to see what the top tier powers and weapons can do? About sum things up?
-
You just described destiny 2
-
Amen bro!
-
Anthem is way more fun than everyone is giving it credit for. It's way more fun than anything I've ever done in Destiny pve content.
-
Those who are actually playing Anthem are way happier with the game than reviewers suggest they have any right to be. as someone who is playing it myself these sorts of posts are very pleasing if only because it means I am not totally out of touch with what a game needs to be enjoyable.
-
That's what the haters don't get. The people bitching about the game...AREN'T THE ONES PLAYING IT. ...and the one's who did play it, and claimed to not like it (other than the bugs and glitches) can never manage to come up with any sort of specific complaints about the. Its the sort of generic criticism that i7 ICEMAN just gave. Which reads like "The game didn't blow my mind, so it sucks."
-
Anthem is not fun and that's a fact.
-
I'm enjoying it. Sorry, but your opinion is just that. Your opinion.
Anthem is not fun and that's an opinion given to me by Angry Joe and others on the internet.
Think this is probably is what you meant to say
-
That's your opinion. Mine is that, Destiny isn't fun, and it's a fact.
-
Ur commenting on a destiny forum.
Anthem is not fun and that's an opinion.
Fixed. I think Anthem is fun.
