I play Gambit solo most of the time and its not too bad playing with randoms. Its really all about being competent about what the hell is going on and adapting. You win some you lose some. Also, the gear sets have specific perks to them that I assume get better the more you play in that role. However, YOU ARE NOT LIMITED TO THAT ROLE. Example: You can have a Sentry go invade. Or an Invader be a Sentry. What matters are the perks. An Invader with fully upgraded Invader perks more than likely will have a better time invading. Not to mention Invading is more PvP anyway so you typically want to have your best PvPers invading. Same thing goes for any of the other roles. And for anyone who just sucks and has little to no skill whatsoever. You can either: --Stick to being a Collector (seriously just stick to collecting the motes and deposit them) --Get GuD --Quit Gambit --Just quit Destiny all together (if you suck that bad then you're enjoyment of the game must be suffering ...so just go)
