So for those who arent gambit players, what is there for us to do in Season of the Drifter? It seems the activities are directly tied to another and there is no reason to run Reckoning if you dont plan on playing Gambit. It seems you're banking all you're motes into one activity for this dlc. Will old gambit be irrelevant? Besides a pinnacle pvp weapon what else is planned for pvp? It seems that if you arent interested in sweaty Gambit for a month then there is really not much new stuff to do at all.
Feeling really concerned with this new dlc.

You will earn weapons from Reckoning, and the armor will still be useful in all activities even without the additional Gambit Prime perks. Gambit will still be there with its current rewards and updated with QOL fixes we talked about in the last TWAB. -
Edited by xXlukiedukieXx: 2/28/2019 7:45:43 PMSo why should I grind a pinnacle pve activity for armor with the same perks that I already have? I have good builds and good armor sets, and if I am not playing gambit prime then whats the point of reckoning? Its main purpose from the explanation in the vid doc was they were meant for gambit. Outside of gambit its the same armor I already have, just wit a glow. Thank you for the response.

You are not a representative of the core community for bungie. Sad but true.

I’m not saying I am, I’m just trying to figure out, like a lot of people are, what there is to do in this dlc besides playing sweaty gambit and a pinnacle pve mode that gives loot FOR gambit. It just seems that if gambit hasent been your thing then you’re SOL unless you try to get into it.
