6 RepliesNot really into the raid mechanics... and the timer. It inflated gameplay. And raid mechanics screams puzzles and puzzles suck from you guys. You go too far just for the sake of it. Am interested in the nine calling him Dredgen

I'm excited, as always, for new content. Been a fan of Bungie since Halo combat evolved dropped. I'm addicted to Destiny. I REALLY like gambit. I grind the hell out of it. It'll be great to see some new pinnacle weapons. I really liked the exotics dropped in Black Armory and I'd like to see more please. Thanks Bungie. I'll be grindin'!

Is this just centered around Gambit matches? I just watched the ViDoc and I honestly don't know what the hell is going on. Timers in the PvE content, that you run solely to get armor for... more Gambit matches? Is that right? So basically, if you're uninterested in Gambit, (never played it, never will) and uninterested in Crucible (never played it, never will) then there's nothing really here. I was hoping after the Activision split things would be different but, as always, solo players are SOL. My group already left after the lvl 600 grind wall of black armory. Bungie, you will never learn. Could I get a refund on that season pass? Oh well, back to Warframe I guess...

I'm interested to see how the community reacts. All this complaining but truth be told they are going to still play anyway. I for one am excited. I want to see that what Gambit pulse rifle feels like. I am disappointed by. No vender refreshes, no crucible maps added, no added game modes in crucible. Notice I didn't say new. Bring back elimination,skrimish, combined arms. No new strikes,.still no factions or trials. No true end game. I love this game. Just want to see more or if it.. alot of content has been taken out of destiny.

Interesting to see how thorn will pan out.Used it throughly in D1 till I got hawkmoon. I will say I’ve never heard anyone talking about private gambit match’s.Hard enough getting anyone to play ranked.

1 ReplyI play a ton of Gambit....but the one comment I really didnt like to hear, you have to coordinate like it's a raid;/ Oh boy solo will suck big time with this. Any clan looking for a middle aged player with hand eye coordination problems due to a stroke??? I don't think solo play will be feasible with Season of the Drifter.

1 ReplyYou should let us pick our roles before going into gambit prime matches. What's gonna happen when there are four invaders? Everyone's gonna fight for it and not contribute obviously. It's already happening in regular gambit matches. Also will getting our gambit chromas be progressed by completing tasks in the certain role that you want? That way if you see someone wearing all green you know theyre really good at clearing ads?

I'm looking forward to it. I'm sure it'll have its faults but I love the game despite them. Wish it had more pvp maps and exotics though.

6 RepliesEdited by Technohydra: 2/28/2019 5:44:07 PMI love how everyones focused on hating one part of the new content, and is totally skipping over one of the Devs revealing that the Redacted season is called Season of Opulence. Seems like something we'd normally have mentioned. Overall, I like what I see. A Gambit mode that might actually be more fun and worth playing, a pinnacle PvE mode that finally explores the Nine a bit more. Activity specific armor, bounty cream to sooth the butthurt of people that can't figure out how to budget time / enhancement cores (this is why I didn't work up my other two characters, I -blam!-ing told you). I don't know if it's going to be 'the best' thing ever, but it already has Black Armory crying in the corner for touching itself at night. If this is Destiny without Activision, I'm pleased with it.

Something it seems they have yet to learn is a great thing. Also Fix the armor system so I can have the perks I want and look like I want. Everybody is going to look exactly the because it's only 1 piece of gear worth getting now. SMH reading the comments and nobody says they play gambit for more than 20 minutes. Lmaooooo

4 RepliesSweatier Gambit was something that literally no one was asking for. Gambit was frustrating and demoralizing enough as it was, and now that's been made worse? I get that developing player versus player gamemodes is pound for pound the best way to get playtime out of development time but that doesn't work when the mode is borderline unplayable without being a tryhard four stack. I'd say Reckoning has a chance of making up for it if it's a solid endgame PvE activity but it's gated behind Prime and only rewards Prime relevant gear so what's the point if Prime isn't enjoyable?
