I was worried at first, but this looks amazing! I always loved Gambit, and now it’s coming back on steroids! Not to mention Reckoning, Nine bounties with lore about them, exotic quests, allegiance quests where you choose sides between Drifter and Vanguard, more pinnacle weapons, and arc week / the revelry (brand new seasonal events). There’s already way more content here than black armory. Keep it up Bungo!

6 RepliesReading a lot of comments talking about the 'roles'. Think people are looking at that wrong. I dont think the 'roles' are what you're gonna be doing that match, they are more so just the labels/titles for the different colors of the gear. I mean, we did see a team wearing all invader colors. We probably gonna have to do certain things to get each color, and then you can wear whatever you want. If you running with people and want to define roles, you can use the colors to help do that, but that's about it.

1 ReplyIs it just me or does it seem like they are trying to kill off pvp in this game. A smg? Really? If you added a sniper or shotgun I guarantee more people would be playing comp. I know I am not chasing that. Not with the never ending grind in comp. Unless you run stacked of course. lol

5 RepliesI personnally can’t wait and my team is ready! Good job bungie. Keep it up you guys are doing great. I know reading the forums must be even more frustrating for you than it is for me.. You have the harshest community because they’re dedicated to Destiny and expect the best from you. I’ll be the guy in the red armor if ever you’re looking for me ;) Btw: maybe stop showing gameplay of guardians running together with explosions all around them haha it looks a bit dumb.

The ViDoc as usual is well put together and makes the content look good. As someone who doesn’t care much for gambit I’m a little reserved on how I feel going into the new season and annual pass content. I’m willing to give the new gambit activity a try but idk how much I, or players like me who don’t enjoy gambit will like it. I’m looking forward to the new pinnacle pve activity and based on what I saw it looks great. The hoard mode style activities you’ve been launching (EP, blind well, and forges) have been some of the funnest content in the game but they all tend to fall a little short when it comes to the loot/loot incentive in them. I know the armor linked to gambit prime will be dropping in it but we don’t know enough about how that armor will work and how universally good it will be across the whole game to know if that will be enough to validate that pinnacle pve game mode for the duration of the season. Hopefully it will or we will have other rewards like weapons that can be earned from that activity to make it worth running if you’re not enjoying the new gambit mode. Depending on the reception of gambit prime I’d like to see more details about the Zur bounties, arc week, and other pve content to keep me interested throughout the season if the community still isn’t responding very positively to it after launch. Note: I’d like to see that information regardless but sooner if gambit prime has a poor response for the community at large.

2 RepliesSolo players who btw also payed for this event can just stop now. I expect that as a solo player you will have win rates south of 20% with the new rewards bringing back all the teams who stopped playing. And my winrate last month where basically nothing was to get was only about 20% - and I've reset Gambit three times already so I know what I am talking about. For a solo player Gambit in its current form is a time waster of the highest order. Spending 15 minutes in a game just to see the Prime being melted by the opposing 4 man team in 20 seconds every time. There is no reason in playing it.

1 ReplyI dont know what you cry babies talking about my clan abandoned destiny a month ago and I soloed the Dregen title in one season and the malphi quest. I've been soloing gambit since I started playing forsaken 3 months after it released. Que up and play the mode or dont. I love the mode its great can say Im super excited for gambit prime or reckoning dont like the idea of a timer things that have timers suck. This is the first time I've actually come tot he forums and thought "what are these people crying about?" Im excited for the first time since TTK dropped for D1

3 RepliesSome people are never happy. Moaning before it even comes out. Well done Bungie good VIDOC. The armour is really nice and the different colours represent different gamestyles. I am just glad there are no forges this time round. Maybe a few PVP maps and new strikes would of been nice but hopefully that is on the horizon. I am super hyped to play this. I have 4 infamy ranks haven't played much gambit lately because I anticipated Jokers Wild would be gambit focussed. So rather than be bored with gambit I gave it a rest and waited for Jokers Wild to re-engage my interest with gambit again and enjoy it hopefully.

1 ReplyI have not purchased forsaken since d2 has cured me from pre ordering and I have not purchased anthem. Taking a wait and see approach these days but I just watched what an anthem update is going to do to the loot and upgrading weapons/gear and tbh, it makes me wonder how d2 can be so slow to fix anything... Division was lame out of the gate after leveling a character but Ubisoft eventually turned it all around and made it a game worth playing in between Destiny dry spells. Looking forward to the division2 open beta this weekend to see if any fixes implemented since private beta. Still not pre ordering... In the mean time I've learned a new appreciation for Warframe and the way digital extremes manages their game and community. Community managers there are doing a live twitch stream tonight. Like the game or not but they interact with actual players, answer real questions, and play the new content. Just saying some community managers at bungie could watch and learn how to do their jobs.
